Bought for RV’ing to large events and this is a perfect conveyance. 2nd is perfect for rough ground and gravel while 4th is a comfortable cruise on pavement. The zizzo bike lock is just long enough to lash the bike to the tongue-frame of a camper and rides nicely in its case above the front fender. Although some have complained about the seat, I found it nicely comfortable and have no reason to change it. Very happy with my Forte.

We bought 2 folding bikes for use when we are traveling in our vintage 1976 GMC Motorhome. So far we have not been able to take any road trips with the bikes and the GMC. So far we are pleased with the quality and construction of our Forte and Urbano.

Bicycle worked perfect out of the box put air in the tires and took off. Now if I can carry my golf clubs on it made in heaven.

I read quite a few reviews on Amazon and Zizzo's websites and was pretty impress. However, before completely being sold on how good the bike is, I needed to see, feel and ride the bike. I can tell you that not only does the bike look better in person, but I really enjoy the way it rides and response. While the length from the handlebar to the seat is shorter, I resolve this issue by rising the seat higher and lowering the handlebar which allow me to be in a more comfortable position while pedaling.

Family and neighbors teased me about color and design. Now all are asking where I bought it and how much ?

Cute little touring-around-town bike. It's heavy for its size, and beware the super-tight turning radius. It takes a little getting used to if you're used to a mountain bike. Easy to fold and therefore take with you in your car. All components are sturdy. I'm on the heavier side, and feel fully comfy on this. NOT a flimsy bike at all. Well worth the money.

I bought a Forte in 2022 to carry in my small motorhome. It is a lot of bike for the money. It even handles some high desert single track. I changed the tires to 2.12" w/ heavy duty Slime tubes. It's in the shop getting upgraded to a nine speed w/ a 34T low gear. Note that this requires a new wheel, derailleur, and twist shifter. Changes to the 2023 Forte look like they may obviate the need to do the above. Added the optional Zizzo metal pedals (great grip) and Zizzo cell phone holder. Swapped out the saddle for a very soft ZHIQIU and added a BV Trunk Bag (external air pump attachment feature and water bottle pocket).

The Forte is the perfect bike to take with us on our RV adventures!

First foldable and bike in a few years . It’s a lot of fun to ride and real easy to transport . Plan on doing some touring on it in the future .

I am a 71 years old slim male, 6'.1", 155 Lbs. with lower back, neck, shoulder, and knee arthritis and other conditions. I bought Forte to replace my very comfortable but also very old and worn-out Cannondale Comfort-3 26" inch XL size bike, which I used for all my shopping and for exercising. To accommodate my chronic conditions, I made a lot of customizations to the Cannondale: the handlebar was at a height that almost did not require any bending, and the seat was in the most comfortable position for the back and the knees. Unfortunately, this is not so with Forte. Although, per its description, it is for riders up to 6'3", I cannot fully unbend my knees when riding. This caused me to order a longer seat post (a suggestion: make a longer seat post optional). The handlebar post is too low for me, and it cannot be raised. It would be great if ZIzzo could make a comfortable, heavy-duty model. I would gladly pay 50% more to get a portable but still comfortable bike.

I bought this for my husband after he wanted to ride my Via but I was afraid he was too close to the weight limit. He loves it! Set-up is super easy, just unfold, adjust the seat and handlebars, and you're ready to ride.

I’m a truck driver been loosing weight finally down for a bike but only the forte will work for my size

I researched folding bikes, took a test ride then bought two Zizzo Forte folders. These are really nice, especially for the price. Naturally, the components are budget parts but they are working just fine. I waited to write this review until I rode a good dozen trips. We are using these bikes for riding dirt and gravel roads and trails while traveling with our teardrop trailer. My hubby is 6’2” and 230 lbs. He is comfortable on the bike. It feels sturdy enough for him and it doesn’t look or feel too small. We are looking forward to traveling with them.

Purchased the Forte. Delivery was quick. Packaging good. And, really easy to to get started. The ride quality is better than expected for my first folder.

The bike is exactly what I was looking for. I’m a big guy and a captain of a research vessel. When we spend the night in ports away from home we are rarely close to restaurants or anything else. It’ll be nice to expand my range. Thank you!

Very well packed. Everything tight just add air in tires and go. It's a little twitchy but getting use to it. The design is top notch very well put together.

I had a dahon folder when I had a 35' sailboat and this one is better. However, I had to change the slick, too small pedals for aluminum wider with stainless pegs to get grip and the bike with its relatively short wheelbase is "twitchy" at low speeds to steer. I may yet after a few more tries go back to a 27.5" mountain bike for a more stable ride. In gears 3-7 it is fine.

The Forte has a robust frame and rides smooth. The variability of the seat and handldlebar has enabled me to achieve a more comfortable riding position than any previous bike I have ridden. Been riding daily since since I received the bike a couple of weeks ago, pushing the bike hard to to assess its capabilities. Once I fine tuned the brakes and the rear derailer the Forte has handled quite well on the rough pavement and light gravel roads I often ride. So far, so good. Look forward to some upcoming winter riding.

This is my seccond zizzo bike after gifting the urbano and it is just as great. Comfortable seats, easy to fold, and it can go pretty fast. People also notice and compliment on the design everytime I use it.

Nice little bike. The folding design makes it easy to put in the car and take with! Right out of the box I was able to get it running and ride it around town. That was perfect as there was a number of summer events happening and the bike took me everywhere I wanted to go. First day I put about 10 miles on it with little effort. Recently, I just returned from a photo camping trip. I was able to load my camera equipment on the rack and ride it to an early dawn shoot with no problems. The lower gearing on this model makes it easy to haul the heavy equipment (including me) without too much hard peddling. The flip side of that means you won't win any land speed races - LOL. That's fine with me, at 60+ years I'm long past the need for speed. My only complaint with this bike is the derailleur - I just can't seem to get it adjusted to keep the middle gears from slipping, it's been that way pretty much since I got it out of the box. I'm not a bike mechanic so I may need to take it to the shop to get it adjusted or replaced if the Youtube videos don't help. All in all - I would recommend this bike.

I really like my new Zizzo Forte!! I was inspired to order one after watching “I bike unfolded” on YouTube. I knew what to expect mostly, but I do have to point out there is some flex in the pedals (probably due my heavy weight at 240lbs) and some phantom shifting around gear 3. Other than that, I love the bike & can’t wait to ride it again (soon hopefully)! I would recommend all Zizzo model bikes to everyone because it’s a very solid performing bike that’s fun to ride. The fact that you can fold it is an extreme bonus coupled with it’s light weight. I can’t say it enough, it’s a great bike and it would be perfect if it had stronger pedals and a better drivetrain.

I love my new folding bike and the color turned out perfect! People ask about it, the ride is very comfortable even for my lower back issues, and it’s compact size allows me to ride to nearby appointments. When I feel like exploring bike trails, I just fold it up, place it in the trunk and go. Way more convenient than a bike rack!

Great street bike

Love the bikes. I thought they would be better on gravel trails. But I took my bike out last weekend and it was struggling on the gravel. Not a big problem, I will have to stick paved paths.

The quality is not as expected due to my seat. The cover began to separate from the base after 30 or so miles of riding. I’m not asking for a refund because I’ve replaced it with one of higher quality. Other than that it’s been a great bike :-)

Solid bike. I really like the geometry, it feels like a larger bike.

Very nice bike - easy to fold and unfold. Some in-ride adjustments were necessary the first time out (as expected), but easy to do. One gear (4 or 5) still clacks when shifted into but all other gears shift smoothly and noiselessly. Very happy with this bike!

After trying out multiple racks to carry our regular bikes with our travel trailer, we finally discovered the Zizzo bikes. So much easier to fold them up and put them in the trailer. No more taking racks off and on and hauling the bikes back in forth at the beginning and end of trips.

The weight and the ability to stow the flat bikes in the basement is great. Riding the 20" bikes takes a bit of getting used too, with the tall seat post and high rise handle bars it takes practice, practice and more practice to feel adept with them. After unpacking (the well protected) bikes there were no flaws or boo boos to be found, all systems worked well and the quality appears to be first class. Looking forward to many more fun rides...

Best purchase I made when covid19 started last year. Aside from the few squeaks, I have no complaints about this bike! Been riding it for 1 year and still looks new! I can even fold and unfold in less than 30 secs. Beat that! Hahaha

Omg! All I can say is you must get this bike! It’s very fast sleek and compact. It performs GREAT! I road the bike uphill, downhill, in the sand mud etc this bike is a TANK! I’m very impressed with Zizzo.

After checking recommended capacities on a lot of folders, i was concerned that i would always be riding at or near capacity. I wondered whether there was a bike that was a bit more sturdy.. and there is. The Forte allows me to ride confidently within its load capacity, even when carrying gear with me. Much more vibrant in person. I love in a small duplex in NYC and I’m able to have it folded by my door close to my coat rack. It’s taking up no extra space!!

Nice bike, only small issue is that the alignment between the bar handle and the front wheel needs to be slightly adjusted. Should be easy to adjust but will need to contact service support for validation.

A number of years ago I had read about folding bikes and dismissed it as novelty thinking nobody could ever get the design right and it would be bad. I was wrong. Zizzo has made an incredible bike. I have gotten numerous compliments on it. I have ridden it already basically for the past 2 weeks straight and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. The design is great and intuitive and I’m literally so in love with it. You will not find a better bike for the price. Period. I have only ridden my black Forte a few times but so far it is wonderful! I was very impressed with the build quality and how well it was packed for shipping. Arrived in perfect condition. I am looking forward to doing some bike camping with it, as the weather warms up!

Hello! To begin I searched for the folding bike that would meet my needs for 9 years! There were so many variables I was looking for in a folding bike. This is the bike I have been waiting to purchase. Thank you for 10% discount, it was of great help. Now I will share my thoughts on my purchase. It took me a while on learning how to fold and unfold the bike (thanks to you tube I was able to learn after many tries.) The front tire brake pads are a little to tight around the base of the metal where the brake pads are. Going up hills I have to put extra effort into getting the bike to move. The wheel moves very slowly. For me this is the only problem I have with my bike. I like my FORTE! This great bike is worth the purchase. I have been receiving complements on the style of the bike and what company makes it. I hope to be riding my bike for many years to come. I hope this review will be of help to your company. Thank you for helping me to choose the best bike for a resemble price and excellent quality.

After not being on a bike for about 29 years I wanted to get a bike to further my weight loss goals. After many weeks of looking at foldable bikes I decided on the Zizzo brand and couldn't be happier. Ordering the bike was a snap and was riding it in less than a week. For anyone concerned with purchasing folding bikes from you and having them shipped should not worry as they were better packaged than my kitchen cabinets were, and arrived in mint condition. So far so good, I have used it twice so far. I was concerned about the seat shaft touching the ground when folded. If it were to get banged up, the seat would not be able to fully rise. I bought a rubber furniture foot protector to put on the end when folded and it has worked out great. My next project is to make a canvas 'bag' to protect the hinges from debris when folded since that also seems like a weak point. I love the adjustability aspect. I had the seat fairly high, got to a steep hill, lowered the seat, rode down, raised the seat back up, all very quickly.

I did a lot of research online before opting for a Zizzo, and when I finally got close to choosing a Forte I received very helpful information from the company. I haven't owned a bike for quite some time, so I'm delighted to find what an excellent choice I made. The bike is so sturdy, it's actually easy to forget that it folds, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Thank you!

Arrived quickly and it was carefully packed. Watching videos before it arrived was helpful. Easy to use and do the safety checks. First ride on a bike trail today and all went well. I bought this foldable so I could haul it in my Rav4 with a friends 3 wheeler. Fits perfectly. It is also easy for this senior citizen to pick up. I admit it is a bit of a different ride than my full size bike, but I am adjusting to it. Very sturdy.

This is everything I’ve ever ever wanted in a bike. When folded, it fits in my VW Golf just fine. I’m very impressed with the max payload of 300lbs as myself alone is around 215lbs and that’s before you start adding more weight to the bike like FDP bags and other accessories. I can ride to work on nice days and simply fold it up (which takes me 20-40 seconds) and store it in the building. Expensive and heavy bike locks/general worries of theft are practically nonexistent as wherever you go, your bike goes too! As for build quality, the ZIZZO FORTE is top notch! When I unpacked it, the chain was off and the derailleur was a tad out of adjustment (common shipping issues), but that was it! Set up was a breeze and I only needed wire cutters to get through all of the zip ties. It was very nice of ZIZZO to include a multipurpose tool for making sure that every bolt is snug. It even functions as a tire lever should the occasional flat arise! It stops on a dime. Seven gears are a good enough range for your average city or bike trail commutes consisting of steep climbs and rapid descends! The Shimano grip shift offers a comfortable and seamless way to transition between gears without ever letting your fingers off of the brake lever. The installed tire type can handle both dirt and cement bike trails with ease! All in all, this bike performs leagues above its MSRP and provides the quality of craftsmanship one might expect from Brompton at a fraction of the price!

Opening and folding the bike very fast and simple. It's a rigid design. Considering reduce the weight a little bit more in the future design it would be better. Will have fun in this summer at the beach and outdoor activities with the bike.

I purchase the Forte as a bike to take camping. Although Covid cancelled all camping plans in 2020, I typically drive north away from the Phoenix heat for 2-1/2 months each summer. I'm retired (74 years young), pull a teardrop camper with my Tacoma, stow a kayak on top of the camper rack, but my mountain bike picks up road grim, infiltrating the mechanical parts just being transported. I needed a bike to accommodate my size (270 pounds). transport clean and dry, and for short trips in and out of RV Parks. The Zizzo Forte was delivered 4 days after ordering (25 Feb 2021). I went to the Colorado River on the Arizona side at I-10 for 6 nights last week (Mar 1-7), and the bike was handled nicely around the RV park and short trips to the Food Mart. The RV Park didn't have any paved lanes, but the bike performed solidly as expected. During travel, the bike fits on the back seat of the Tacoma (kept inside the shipping box, so the back seat doesn't get soiled). I'm happy with my purchase.

When gyms first closed in March, I decided biking would be the best exercise. But I had not biked in over 25 years. I wanted something strong and light weight that folds. After much reach, I came across Zizzo. And I couldn't be happier. The Forte bike is top quality . Customer Service is second to none. I sent an email with a question, and they immediately made a custom video just for me. What's there not to love. I am about to buy a second Forte as a gift!

Easy to ride, fun.

Purchased the Zizzo Forte after doing weeks of research. I was looking for a fun well-built comfortable bike that is easy to ride, easy to load in either car without needing a rack, does not look like a clown bike, and has good product support. I give Zizzo high marks for each. I am now looking forward to buying another Zizzo for my wife.

All is good with the bike, except that the 7th gear keeps slipping intermittingly, which is frustrating. The ride becomes uneven because the chain slips off the gear peg to the next. Maybe the chain needs to be tightened. Please advise. Thank you.

I came to Zizzo when I needed a small-form bike for my tiny apartment after some online searching. I didn't expect much for this little pal until I had the first ride on it. To summarize, this Zizzo Forte has exceeded my expectation by: 1) its lightness when ridding on road because 29-30 lbs feel really light on road; 2) its sturdiness, esp. when I rode fast with ups and downs, I didn't feel any loosing parts and the whole bike feels like a single piece; 3) its convenience for folding and unfolding so that I totally grasped all the steps/skills to fold/unfold it smoothly after a few times of practice. From my research and actual experience with it, I feel that this is probably the best value of money bike that can be found on market for the purpose of urban riding/commute and daily workout at this price range. (and of course, for other purposes like commuting at complex road conditions or road racing, big bucks are definitely needed for obvious reasons). Overall, I feel quite happy with this Zizzo bike and I think it's a good investment in health and daily life quality. As a result, I already placed an order for the second Forte!

My bike was delivered in perfect condition. Removing all the protective covering was easy enough. Putting the bike together for the first time was also relatively easy. The bike looks great. It's solid and well put together. It was pretty much ready to go. I've put a good few miles on it already. It is much faster than I thought it would be and I find myself passing out many cyclists on full size bikes. I was initially concerned that 7 gears wouldn't be enough. I live in an area with some steep hills. I very rarely have to use the lowest gears. The highest gear seems good enough for my needs too. There's nothing squeaky or shaky when the bike is put under pressure. A few points I'd like to make. 1. 29lb isn't very heavy, but it's not light either. This isn't a bike that you could carry around for too long. 2. The owner's manual is sparse enough. You could add a lot more information about adjusting brakes, gears, and general maintenance. Looks like the chain comes with a wax coating. I like that, but I believe this should be mentioned in the manual, as well as instructions on how to maintain a waxed chain. 3. The brakes were too tight when I got it. There is a good Zizzo YouTube video on how to tighten the brakes, but not one for loosening the brakes. The manual also has instructions in tightening, but not loosening the brakes. There is only so much you can loosen those screws before they fall off. Anyway, I managed to get it done. Looking forward to some warmer weather so I can test it out more.

I order this bike after researching folding bikes for some time. We have an RV and space is limited. After receiving the bike and doing the safety inspection I pumped up the tires and was ready to roll. The bike is made well and I am not a small person. It is comfortable to ride and just plain fun. My wife liked mine so much I ordered her one too. Shipping was fast and it was packed extremely well. Looking forward to warmer weather and riding in the campgrounds and bike trails while on our adventures.

Forte is a perfect ride for an eBike kit. Mine has a BBS01B Bafang mid drive.

First off, love, love, LOVE my Forte! Was thinking that in the future I would splurge for a Brompton but no more! Now if you guys could think of a hack to make the rack like the Brompton's so that it can be wheeled like a cart when indoors-boom! Winner! packing was impeccable! Unboxed and on the road in less than 20 minutes WITH the safety check done.

When we downsized from a huge home into a much smaller condo, it was time to look for another bike to replace my 15 year old mountain bike. I began researching the folding bikes and I found Zizzo. I was very impressed with the reviews and how everyone raved about the bikes and I can see why. I ended up going with the Green Forte as I use my bike for extra hauling of groceries and store items. I received the bike within the week and it was packed very nicely and arrived safely to my home in the Midwest. Had no issue whatsoever in adapting to the bike even after riding a mountain bike for years. The bike is extremely sturdy, well made and rides very smoothly. As a Michigan State University alumni, I appreciate the Spartan Green color as well. It took us longer to unpack the bike then doing the safety check before riding it for the first time.
