I’m 6’ 1” and the with the standard seat post, a comfortable seat height put me about 1-1/2” above the “maximum height” mark, so now I’m good

First of all this seat post is nothing like the picture describing it online. This seat post telescopes and is not only 50 mm, but closer to 300 mm longer than the standard seat post. So if you’re a tall or long legged person, this is definitely something you wanna look into.

After test riding my new Zizzo, I was convinced that for people over 30" inseam, the extended seatpost is indeed advisable. Luckily I ordered one with my bike order. It came packaged with the bike. I was concerned that the buje box showed obvious signes of having been opened before, but now realize that it was done to insert the extra seatpost. Note that the extended seatpost does not come with a plastic bottom cap and you have to use the one from the pre-installed seatpost. The hardest thing about installing the seatpost was removing the existing seat from the existing seatpost. The bolt was tightened so much, that it took special tools and 2 people to loosen it (same with the nuts on the wheel axles btw).

The extra-long seatpost fits my height needs and includes micro-adjustment, too. At 6'2", I initially had doubts, but found my Zizzo Ferro has a surprisingly stable ride. Fun bike!

I am 6' 1" tall and have a 32 in inseam. Though I replaced the original seat with a seat that is a bit higher, the long seat post has been very helpful. It arrived soon after ordering it!
But now, what can I do with the original seat post? It is in near new condition!

Not having the correct seat height is hard on my knees; the standard seat post was not long enough, but the long seat post was perfect. Zizzo customer service was excellent, as I needed the seat post sent UPS to Hawaii, and it was no problem kmaking that arrangement with their customer service agent.

My son and I just completed a 200 mile ride from Cumberland, Maryland, to
Washington, DC on the C&O Canal Towpath, riding on our new Zizzo Urbanos. My son is 6-2 tall, so I purchased a long seatpost for him. It worked perfectly, as did the bikes, even carrying the 50 pound packs we hung from the front handle bars. On to the next adventure.

I have a number of bikes though find transporting them a clumsy affair. I thought a folding bike would encourage me to throw it in the car and explore new areas. This has worked perfectly and after I bought the first Liberte, I bought a second for when I am in California. The bike is light and a pleasure to ride. I now have hundreds of miles on them with no problems. It is not a bike for a century ride but 20-30 miles is a joy.

Bought the bike for use riding around a very large motorsports event site. It was easy to fold/unfold, comfortable to use, and lightweight. Had to get a longer seatpost due to my long legs, but otherwise it fit very well. Highly recommended.

The minimum markings on the post are equal to those on the standard post, so I'm paying $30 extra for more of the post inside the frame.

I'm 6'2" and this makes my Zizzo fit much better, while still accommodating my wife. Besides being longer, the only difference between this and the original is that the long seat post does not have the silkscreened height index. This is no big deal. Installation was easy.

This seat post and a new shim (also purchased from here) solved my year-long seat post slippage issues. I'd suggest shipping all your bikes with this seat post as a standard.
