Absolutely LOVE OUR Zizzo Liberty bikes. Perfect for condo living. They fold up nicely to store in the closet or the back of a car,SUPER LIGHT,…and they are SO MUCH FUN to ride. We accessorized ours with a basket, bell, lights, a lock and a compact electric pocket pump. They are a GREAT value & the shipping was super fast! I can’t say enough good about them , I haven’t found a single thing to complain about. Zizzo thought of everything with these.

Love the ease of folding and transporting the bike. It's an easy ride for reasonable distances...15-20 miles with great handling. Anything longer though, one notices the diminished power of the smaller wheels to cover the distance that a full size wheel would offer.

This bike has transformed my rides into adventures. I love the ride, the feel, and the convenience of my Zizzo Liberté. Shifting gears with this new type of shifter elevates the experience. I feel that my safety has also improved. The 20” wheels put me lower to the ground and make stopping and standing without fear of tipping over. I am 77 years old and my Zizzo is part of my everyday routine. Seniors should try this bike on for size. I could not be more pleased. Also, an upgrade to the larger padded sea is worth considering. I’m glad that I did.

Love my new Liberte Plus, I feel like it's a perfect travel buddy that I can easily put in my car and have an adventure with! I ordered my bike just before Christmas, I had Zizzo install fenders and a rear cargo rack on my bike and it arrived just in time for the holidays. Shifting gears on the Liberte Plus is smooth and concise, it moves quickly when needed! I'm very happy with my purchase, it's a really good quality affordable bike, I've already added a few accessories to it.

Dislike: Red and white reflectors come with the. bike: Low and cheap quality. Please remove them or upgrade to better reflectors. How about introducing a new 16" wheel lighter weight Liberte? It will be an excellent choice for commuter like me who travel by bus and train. Seat should be gel and more comfortable. Thank you for reading

This Liberte was our third purchase. The bikes for the price point cannot be beat IMO. Good welds and alignment, smooth and quiet, very good build quality. Belt drive would be nice but absolutely no complaints. Great balance kes.

Very pleased with this bike. I have a Tern Verge x10 that was much more expensive than the Liberty. I need a bike that is very light as I put them in the back of my small plane. The Liberty is as light as my Tern and rides just as good.

I purchased a Zizzo Forte earlier this year and liked it so much I decided I'd try the new Zizzo Liberty Plus. I don't have a ton of miles on the Liberty plus yet but there were some things that jumped out at me on my maiden voyages. First, the new shifting system on the Liberty Plus is absolutely amazing, crisp, concise, and fast, I was quite impressed. The second thing I noticed was the lower gearing on the Liberty Plus, I checked the specifications for both bikes (Liberty versus Forte)and sure enough Liberty plus had slightly lower gear inches. I actually prefer the lower gearing on the Liberty plus more than the Forte. One thing I like about both Zizzo's is I can install a double kickstand on them, not possible on most bikes. This comes in handy for my use when shopping, keeps the bike balanced while loading and unloading. I don't have enough saddle time to speak to the Liberty plus seat comfort yet but I do like the fact that I could easily swap out my seats/seat post between both bikes in seconds, the Forte's seat is the absolute cats meow for me. And what a pleasure it is to tighten the Liberty plus seat post quick release lever now that it is much wider, an excellent upgrade by Zizzo. And lastly the Liberty is five pounds lighter than the Forte it's definitely noticeable. In summary the difference between the Liberty Plus and the Forte, the Liberty plus is more of a sports car and the forte is more of a station wagon. Liberty plus feels much more nimble, the Forte very comfortable all around due seat and tires. I tried to add a few pictures, one shows the Liberty plus with a Burley Travoy shopping trailer, the other shows the Liberty Plus folded next to a folded Brompton, as can be seen, it's pretty darn close to the small size of the Brompton, and the lightweight makes the Liberty plus easy to maneuver while folded. I think these Zizzo's are a great value and at present my favorite rides in the stable.

It comes fully assembled. Folds and unfolds nicely. Easily adjustable to fit me at 6'1" or my 11 year old son.

Generally like it. It's light, I'm getting the hang of folding it, even finding ways use my shoulders more to carry it when folded. Issues: First, the seat post needs to be more difficult to remove (I live in a high bike theft zone—Seattle). Second, and I asked about this with an email, identify the plastics used in the packaging to help buyers recycle correctly. Third, I'm used to foot muzzles on my other bike. Developing a type of light removable foot muzzle would be great. Right now my feet roll off the pedal on occasion.

This liberte bike is good in general, but I lost a few nuts for the tail light during assembly during assembly. Could you please let me know if the seller can send replacement parts?

Excellent bike! I had to change the seat!!! It was too hard and uncomfortable for a male rider. Also, The liberte does not come with fenders which is surprising for a street bike. I ordered some SKS 20" Fenders since ZIZZO was not available. This is an additional $55 purchase that should be considered when Buying a Zizzo... Overall happy with my bike.

I maintain 15 miles per hour max 22. It’s super light like a little dumbbell

As a 74 year old, it is very easy to mount, ride, and dismount.

Over the past 40 years, I have owned various brand name bikes - Specialized, Trek, Cannondale, DiBernardi, Revolve e-bike - and now ZIZZO LIBERTE. I brought it to my local bike shop and even he was impressed - he who, months ago, recommended the pricey Brompton. Liberte rides well. It fits in my small apartment AND my Convertible Beetle’s small trunk! I look forward to riding on bike paths all summer long ~ Thank you!! L. Bell

Got this bike to commute around 10mi to work. In order to make it a bit more efficient I install a mid-drive motor and a small battery, so when I come to work I am not too sweaty and in need for shower :) You may ask why I didn't just buy E-forte instead of making the conversion myself. There are multiple reasons for that: 1. E-forte is 5+lb heavier than my bike 2. My bike has a torque-sensing motor, so it provides a more natural pedaling experience 3. My bike has more power and get's to 25mph if needed vs 15mph with E-forte (after installing a bigger 56T chainring) 4. Battery size is adjusted to my needs and I can install smaller or bigger battery if required later 5. I had a lot of fun working on my bike Motor installed is TSDZ2B. The conversion project I would say requires some mechanics skills (I am just a software engineer, not a pro mechanic) and engaging with the wide TSDZ2 user community. But the result was totally worth it.

This bike flies! I don't feel tired riding it and it's responsive. The premium features like extra gearing and an aluminum frame are worth the extra cost. I used to own an older version of the Ferro, and I now owned the new Ferro. The Liberté is more efficient (it absorbs your pedaling power) and faster. Climbing inclines is easy with this bike. If I have any complaints about this bike, it's that front post is just barely tall enough for me, and I'm an average sized human. Also, the front gear is missing half of a guard, presumably to keep the weight low, and so the chain may fall off in storage. The chain skips often; the shifter values fall in between gears often, so the bike will automatically upshift often. I'm not sure if this is the result of 8 gears or a manufacturing defect. As long as you fine tune the gearing with the shifter, then you'll be OK.

I found my first Liberte, probably about a year or so ago, and it's been a "love affair" ever since. (That purchase led to 2 more.) For the comfort and flexibility, you just can't beat it. Great bike, Zizzo!

Very easy to carry when it is folded up...I can even carry it with one hand. I needed the bike to fit into my trunk area and drive to a park. It fits very well in my car. It is easy to unfold and then I can follow my daughter while she is training on her long runs. LOVE this Bike!

I recently purchased the Zizzo Liberté and I couldn’t be happier! The bike is lightweight, easy to fold, and rides incredibly smooth. Very light and sturdy. 8 Speeds is more than enough for city riding. The 20 inch wheels are speedier than you might think, they grip the road well.

Loving this bike so far

I love this bike. The only downside, seat is very uncomfortable. And optional extra confort seat would be nice. I replaced it, now I love ridding the bike! Light, stylish, easy to fold and unfold... one of my friends ends buying one for himself. Highly recommended for the price.

I started biking a year ago and tried many different bikes to see what I liked and what worked for the trails nearby. If I had known about the Liberte, I would have stopped with this one. It's just right! What I value most is it fits in the trunk of my car so I can lock it up unseen if I go into a store, museum or restaurant. It doesn't take much space inside the house. But best of all - it rides like a rocket, is very nimble and maneuverable due to the light weight (lighter than a Brompton!). And it's beautiful too. I'm thinking about getting a second Liberte and putting knobby tires on it for unpaved trails. Thank you Zizzo for the Liberte.

In love! Light but robust. I add it the defenders and rear rack. Wish it have a comfy seat option. Seat is perfect if you like narrow sporty hard bike seats. The shimano 8 gears is a must with that wheel size.

It’s so lightweight it’s unbelievable. Easy to fold too, and the wheel sir is perfect for daily commute. Really well built and strong.

Bike arrived 4 days after order. Opened the box and it was ready to ride. I own and have owned Dahon bikes. This bike is far superior. It is tight and feels like a non fold up bike. The video on the proper way to fold is important. Without the video, I would have scratched the paint on the bike.

It arrived in good shape and was easy to finish the build for the first ride.

I and my new Liberté just got back from the bike's maiden intercity bus voyage, and it now has about 60 miles on it, so time for the initial review. I've ridden bikes for six decades and this is my fourth bike in the current collection, so I'm pretty experienced. I got the bike mainly for transportation when I travel, as so many cities have sporadic bus schedules, they've given up on their bike share systems, and I've never been a fan of the unreliable and unpredictable app-based renbt-a-bike companies. The three selling points of the Liberté for me were price, weight, and tire pressure. I only found one bike about the same weight for $200 more and the rest were well over $1,000. And the 23 pounds (about 30 pounds with the heavy-fabric bag that was included via a coupon) really matters. Finally, I really appreciate high pressure tires--for me the less rolling resistance the better. Most of the other folding bikes out there are 45-65 psi and these are 110 psi (I have them at 90). You do feel every bump in the road, but that's the tradeoff for easy rolling. The bike arrived in a week, and only required tiny adjustments (brakes and quick release tension mostly). After the safety check I spent about 20 miles learning its personality. I wondered about the 20" wheels, having never ridden anything less than 26", and read reviews that found the smaller wheels and changed center of gravity to take some getting used to. The handlebars are also not as wide as I'm used to. But the bike feels well-balanced to me (I'm 5' 11" and 156 pounds) and very stable and comfy. It fits both me and my spouse, with a half-foot in height difference between us. So after a few shakedown rides, a saddle replacement (I much prefer a saddle with a center cutout), and the addition of a derailleur guard (which adds an inch of width folded but if it was going to bounce around in a bus I wanted the protection) it was time for the maiden voyage. I put the handlebars at the minimum insertion point to ride more upright, and the seat post at the 1 inch mark--about as high as it will go--which is quite comfortable for my 32 inch inseam. I rode the bike the four miles to the intercity bus stop, with the carrying bag stowed in its own backpack (included with the carrying bag) and attached to the front handlebars facing me. I tried to attach it facing outward but it interfered with the brakes and cables unless I let it hang down, which made it swing around too much. There was just enough clearance for my knees. And I wasn't sure about the velcro straps holding it on the handlebars but they did just fine. Being a novice, when I got to the bus I spent about 10 minutes collapsing the bike, folding it, and getting it in the bag along with my helmet and toolkit. The bag is big--way over the 62 linear inches the bus company said it allowed without a fee, but there were no questions asked and no fees requested when they stowed it. Upon arriving at my destination, I hefted it onto my shoulder (along with the backpack of clothes and stuff for a 2-day trip) and carried it the two blocks to the hotel. I should have just unpacked the bike there on the sidewalked and rode it for the two blocks--it was a challenging walk. I then spent the next day touring about 40 miles on the local bike path network--I'm used to about 10 miles a day and was worried that riding an unfamiliar bike four times my normal distance would leave me sore but it felt great. The 8 speeds shifted nicely and got me up every hill comfortably while the rim brakes grabbed perfectly without stickiness on the downhills and stoplights. The tires kept their pressure well. It was easy to carry the bike up and down the hotel stairs, even for an old guy like me. The next day I packed it back up, put it on the bus (again no extra fee), unpacked it at the bus drop-off, checked that it had traveled well (it and the carrying bag were unscathed), repacked the bag in its convenient backpack, and rode home. I'm already looking forward to the next opportunity to travel with it. Really, it rides as well as my road bike (exept for that bit of extra bumpiness). I covered the four miles to and from the bus in the same time with what felt like the same effort. I can easily see the Liberté as a totally satisfying commuter as well as travel bike. And it fits in a 26x32x12 inch space folded. It takes less time to fold or unfold than it does to lock or unlock. When you do lock it, if you worry about people stealing your quick-release wheels, you may want to opt for a cable lock with plenty of length as there's only the single frame bar until you get back by the seat post. I learned a few things so far that I'll pass along. One, there is a red button you have to push to release the tension lever and turn the handlebar stem down. And there's a big warning to not loosen that button. But mine was just a little tight so it didn't pop out to provide the extra safety margin it was intended for. If yours doesn't pop out then you may need to loosen it ever so slightly (it only took a couple degrees turn for mine). Also, the lever that you release to fold the frame has a chrome safety catch. It has a little play in it, and it you press it in toward the bike it won't release. But if you press it toward the lever it works just fine. When you unbox the bike, pay attention to how everything is folded. It only folds easily if you do it the way it is originally packed. You need to pull the handlebars all the way up before folding them, position the pedals before folding, reset the handlebar stem release lever before you fold it down so it doesn't nick the finish on the frame, and make sure the quick release levers on the wheels are both pointing forward. I also recommend wrapping the handlebar stem with something before folding if you are going to pack and haul it with motorized transportation. There are a couple of clear pads to protect the frame finish from the handlebar rubbing, but there are a couple of other places, like the brakes, where they could rub. And the bike has a gorgeous almost holographic sparkly silverplate finish that deserves to be protected. It has quality and value written all over it.

Absolutely love the bike. It is now my main bike as I prefer to ride it rather carry around the larger bike that I had. It fits nicely in the trunk of my car and will fit nicely on my boat when I cruise from port to port. Cruising on the boat and being able to get off and explore around are important to me. And the Zizzo definitely fits the bill. One thing I learned the hard way though, is that the bike is a little less forgiving than a normal bike. You have to pay more attention, and definitely keep both hands on the handle bars at all times. I took a tumble when trying to ride on hard pack gravel. I wasn't paying attention and hit a soft sandy patch and went right down. Lesson learned. However, this does not deter me. I am thrilled with this bike.

Wish the seats were more comfortable

I've been using the Zizzo Liberte as my main way to get around for about a year now, and it's been pretty reliable! I've taken it for a few check-ups in that time, and I wore out the brakepads and broke one of the pedals. Overall, good value for the money. Thank you!

Got the Liberte and I love it. Light enough to readily carry it up and down stairs to trains. Have added the rack and a cardboard box zipped to it, but my favorite mod was using a bit of household wire (solid copper insulated) to easily lock the front brake to hold the bike in place on the train or wherever. See pic. Wire pokes into a handy hole in the brake lever.

After a shoulder injury, I could no longer lift my old 33lb no name folding bike into the car trunk. Bought the liberte because of its 23lb weight and have no problems lifting it. What a difference 10 lbs make! Love the smooth and fast ride with 8 responsive gears. I was able to conquer the incline to my house for the first time ever. I like the button safety mechanisms for the front fork and for the main folding mechanism but the levers are difficult for me to open. I pinched my fingers twice in the process. Folding and unfolding the bike is otherwise very easy and fast. Overall, I love the bike.

Great bike for traveling. I packed it in a standard 28” check in case. Excellent for city ride, nimble and tight.

For a new multimodal commute I bought a Zizzo Liberte from Target.com in case I needed to return the bike to a store. I also ordered from the Zizzo website the optional fenders and rack. The bike arrived with a broken pedal, and the fender set had a broken connector. But Zizzo customer service was very responsive and replaced both parts that were quickly mailed to me. I am very happy with how lightweight the Liberte is, very handy when carrying it folded onto a crowded Metro Train. A couple of upgrades I have added include puncture resistant Marathon tires, a mirror, and a bell. I needed to adjust the rear brake after adding the wider tire. The bike rides fine in the rain. The twist shifter works well and I'm happy with the gearing. A great commuting tool.

The Liberte is amazing! My son helped me choose the color :-). I ride my Liberte with my son (he's 6yrs old and has a Guardian 20") after school. The bike is comfortable, the gears are smooth, the bike is super light, and looks cool!

I sold my electric folding bike when I moved to a second floor apartment, because at 80 lbs, it was too heavy to carry up the stairs, or even load into my car. I had also decided that I needed to use my own body's power to get good exercise. I researched folding non-electric bicycles, and decided on Zizzo. I'm so glad I did! The Zizzo Liberte is fabulous, well-made, and easy to carry at 23 lbs. I absolutely love it! I can easily carry it up the stairs to my apartment, and easily lift it into the back of my car. I take it everywhere and have the freedom to ride wherever I want. Thank you, Zizzo, for making a quality product!

Easy and fun ride! Can't wait to bring it everywhere. I needed a bike to commute to work. After I almost had my bigger bike stolen, I decided to get a foldable bike that would allow me to store in a closet while at work. I miss the better balance of big wheels but the smaller wheels are more nimble and makes sharper turns. Gear switching is smooth and brakes are solid. I am a big guy and this bike didn't feel cheap to me. I wish it came with fenders for the Liberte but I was able to add them myself. The youtube instructions could've been more clearer.

Had so much luck with my first Liberte,I picked up a second one. in addition to road bikes, some costing as much as 10 times this price I have owned no less than 10 folding bikes over the years. In my opinion Liberte is a great bang for the buck,well equipped for the vast majority of riders. A shout out to the ZiZZO team for their excellent customer service. I was able to fix a minor squeak originating in my handlebar stem clamp with a combination of some insight from Tony, the tech guy, and their excellent videos. you can’t go wrong, I highly recommend ZIZZO.

I love the bike. I take it abroad and use it as a training bike. With aerobars and a second ring for hills it's perfect. It's fast and light and surprisingly comfortable on long rides thanks to the aerobars... I don't think that I could have found a better folding bike option...

1st time on a bike! Loved it

Loved my new Liberté from day one. Only upgrade made was the Zizzo lock grips and 1.95" Maxxis Torch. First 50km ride from Amsterdam Schiphol airport to Rotterdam and she behaved as expected. I disassembled the bike to make her fit inside an A3 tactical bag. No extra baggage fees. She survived the air trip from El Paso, TX to The Netherlands. She passed the test and now she will be my travel companion!

Really nice lightweight bike, and it handles well. The gearing is right for me, as I don't tour. Had to change the seat for a softer one, though.

We bought a zizzo via a few years ago to ride around our campsite and absolutely love our bikes! Then i saw the sale for a liberte, priced cheaper than what i paid for the Via, that i HAD to hop on it! aside from it being lighter than the via, we immediately noticed how much lighter it was to pedal! like HUGE difference - like liberte at gear 6 or 7 still felt lighter than via at gear 3!!! Can't wait to take this out with us. Love zizzo! thank you for making awesome products!

I have very happy with this bike! Sturdy construction and smooth ride. Small enough to stash in my office at work. Out of the box, I had to make the following adjustments: - handlebar alignment - plastic chain guide - rear hub (just a teensy bit too snug that the wheel did not spin freely enough) - minor adjustment on derailleur I highly recommend the Liberté, especially with the $100-off coupon. Hard to beat this deal.

I use the bike to commute two miles to my job. Bike theft is very common in my area, and this bike is lightweight and folds down neatly so there is no problem bringing it into my job and storing it away during my shift. It rides very well, the breaks are great, and it gets lots of comments from coworkers. My only issue with the bike is that the seat gets uncomfortable very quickly. Make sure you buy the comfort+ saddle if yo are riding longer distances.

I love my Zizzo! It folds and unfolds easily and rides very well. It's the lightest folder that I've owned. It's just about the only bike you'd ever need.

First time I've ever had a foldable bike and I have to say I'm impressed. I'm a road/tri biker, so the weight was surprisingly light (not carbon fiber light obviously), but easy to carry up stairs. The folding mechanism takes 1-2 tries to get used to, but is straightforward with small touches like a magnet to keep it closed and kick stand. For a basic derailleur, it functions better than expected. I use it mainly for getting out the city and for that it's perfect. I might add a rear bike rack for easy transport, but otherwise it does a great job of being an around-town bike.

This is my second Zizzo liberte. I’ve had such good luck with the first one. I bought a second for my wife. It’s well-equipped as it is for the vast majority of riders. Overtime one may choose to make some minor modifications to make it uniquely yours. This will be relatively uncomplicated, because the vast majority of the parts are replaceable with. Industry standard parts I do recommend the hand grips available from Zizzo. They’re so comfortable!

A late review. I bought the Liberte at the beginning of the summer. It was to take with me on my winter holiday so I have not ridden it much. However I have ridden it enough to post a review. I like it. For an inexpensive bike it is well thought out and made. The gearing will get you through all types of gradients. And it is doubtful that one can stay in 8th gear for any length of time unless one is going downhill and has a wind at their back. The biggest surprise with this bike is how smooth it rides. I was expecting a bumpy, feel the road type of ride with the 20 inch tires. The tires and wide enough that they smooth over most pavement imperfections. But the tires are not fat to the point of slowing you down. There are some creaks in the bicycle but the more I ride it I should be able to determine where they are coming from and nullify them. I look forward to my winter vacation and riding the Liberte exclusively.

Liberty has what I was looking for in the bike: upright position, adjustability, fun to ride and small footprint when folded. And it looks awesome too. Great job ZIZZO!

Very well-designed bike. Only constructive feedback is that maybe include what comes in the package. I didn't know there would be a little tool in there and that the tires were deflated. Maybe that is something that is just assumed when shipping a bike, but it would help to have a little "contents included" section online so you know what else you need to get.

after watching many youtube videos about Zizzo's folding bikes, I bought 3 liberte's for my family. delivery was quick. i can put 2 in our camry's trunk and 1 in the back seat. we can take our bikes anywhere without loading them on a bike rake. i have rode bikes since i was a kid. i have had a 20lb road bike with shimano ultegra, a Marin lightweight hybrid, and others. i like my zizzo just as much as my favorite past bikes. i had bikes with shimano tourney gearset which was bad. the zizzo's shimano altus works fine for me especially going uphill. the bike is fast (not as fast as road bikes) and glides effortlessly. i did upgrade to a more comfortable seat (only $15 online) and grips ($4 online) one of the tires had a flat after 3 rides. even though the tube was an unwarranted part, Zizzo sent a free replacement. so customer service is great. i showed my bike to a friend and he bought one too. if i need another bike in the future, i would gladly buy another liberte. i have never seen a dahon or bronte, but I would not want to spend 3 to 4 grand for 3 bikes. the libertes seem well made. i think i got a great deal for 3 liberte's and am very satisfied with my purchase.

Love it! It's small enough to fit behind my seat in the car even without folding! Also it's light enough for my OLD back (I'm 72 !!) The ride is FANTASTIC! My only complaint is that I wish I was able to completely sit totally upright! LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS!!

I originally bought a Zizzo ferro and liked it so much that I wanted to get the top of the line model, couldn't pass up the summer sale. I have to say that I love this bike even more than I thought I would. It is a very comfortable bike to ride around my little village or for miles on the nearby biking trail, it's quick and fun to ride, the liberte has become my go to bike for everything except mountain bike riding, the only thing I would like to have seen on the bike would be drop bars, but that would make it difficult to fold unfortunately. The locking mechanisms on this bike are vastly superior to the ferro model as well, there is no creaking and no worry of anything coming undone. The liberte is worth the money in my opinion.

I love the zizzo Liberte. Great bike, great ride, meets all of my needs.

my zizzo is a great everyday bike and helps me commute with the bus too. lots of people tell me its cool.

I love to ride it. The bike is very light and very smooth to ride.

I bought two Liberte bikes (in different orders). One bike arrived and matched with the description. The second bike arrived and was missing the listed Shimano Revo 8 speed grip style shifter. Instead it had a shifter that may have been intended for a lower end zizzo model. I still love the bike, it is just a little disappointing that the bike did not include the advertised components.

This little bike has been great. It was an impulse purchase for commuting around the city - the week before I flew across the continent. There were no problems packing it for the flight and worked right out of the luggage when I landed. This is now my backup bike, but it's capable of being a commuter or grocery-getter. I bought the fenders and rear rack (definitely necessities!), comfort saddle (a quality of life upgrade but not a necessity), and replaced the straight handlebars with cruiser handlebars (goodbye hunching over). If you've ever had that curious itch about folding bikes, try one out and buy this for the same price as a beater bike!

The quality control of the Zizzo Liberty folding bike is impressive! Everything worked perfectly right out of the box. The bike is sturdy but light weight with a smooth ride. I ordered two, for my husband and myself. We’re very pleased with the purchase and look forward to many miles of cycling!

Was a good product. Though the parts do change. I ordered two of the same bike and the parts were different between them.

I’m a senior citizen and I have been riding bicycles all of my life. I ordered a Liberte and it arrived flawlessly. I had a Topeak rack and bag that I used on my Cannondale. The setup works well on the Liberte and I have been touring with Amtrak. I take the bag and rack off, fold, and carry the bike in luggage on the train. The Liberte is a great bike and I’m riding it every day. And it’s light to carry on and off the train.

500 miles on the bike with no issues. Love the way it looks and I’ve had several compliments. Mostly city bike path and rails to trails. My other 2 full sizes bikes are just hanging in the garage

Recently purchased a Liberte'. I have all kinds of bikes and this is my first folder. This is a fun, entertaining bike that is well made and has exceeded my expectations in all ways. We love how light and responsive the Liberte is. It is easy to fold and put in the back of the car. It rides very smoothly. We can't wait to ride again and again.

I use this bike to commute to the gym and it’s been solid. My bike needed some tweaking out the box I recommend getting it setup at a bike shop if you don’t know what you are doing besides that it’s a great bike!

Just acquired a Liberte'. I like bikes. I ride all kinds of bikes. The Liberte' is my first folder. It is a Great bike. It's beautifully made and it's a joy to ride. Fast too. Buy with confidence !!! I'm also very impressed with the techical support Zizzo provides it's owners on this website. The self-help instructions, self-help vidoes and Tony's Tech Tuesday videos are very comprehensive and thoughtful. I've not seen any bike manufacturer provide this level of support. Thanks to all

Love my ZiZZO Liberté

If I were marketing this, I would have called it something like the Creek Trail as a tongue-in-cheek reference to how much the aluminum creaks. I find myself letting up on the cranks when I pass people to keep the noise under control. As far as the bicycle goes, I'm satisfied. I got it on sale, though. Had I paid full price, I would have sent it back. Starting with the things I like: The shifting was as smooth as butter out of the box and still is several months later. I've avoided grip type shifting which I always saw as an illegitimate gimmick but dang if it doesn't just work. Happy with it. The folding clamps are tight and not at all fiddly. The frame clamp is perfect. The tubes actually hold air! I filled them when they arrived and months later have not noticed them going down which is insane at 100psi. The Noname brand brake levers do their job. Now that I've dropped the bike while trying to unfold it, I'm glad the levers aren't crazy $$. As far as folded size goes, it easily fits into the back of our Honda cute ute. Maybe even two would fit. A thoughtful addition to the Zizzo is the height marks for the handlebar stem and seat post which make it easy to set the bike back up the same way every time you unfold it. Some criticism: To say this thing is not stiff is an understatement. The handlebars flex. The folding pedals flex. The frame flexes. For reference, I have been riding the same chromo no suspension MTB for the last 30 years. And nothing on that ever flexed. The only thing that doesn't seem to flex is the seat post. I might try different pedals. Nothing I can do about the stem flex. Something else I find annoying is that the stem clamp always moves into the latch position as I'm trying to unfold the bike which means I have to stop, free up a hand, open the clamp again, then finish unfolding the stem so it can be clamped. One comical thing that happened to me on about my tenth ride was that the handlebar stem clamp which adjusts the handlebar height wasn't tight enough but I didn't realize it and as I rode, it slowly went down until, perplexed, I got off of the bike because I was so uncomfortable that I was ready to throw the bike in the creek. Lo and behold, it was a minor glitch easily rectified. At the time of purchase, I was needing to ride a train for a few short weeks. Bikes like the Zizzo are allowed as luggage or carry-on for my local train as well as Amtrak (on my local train, bikes are not allowed during rush hour which they deem about a 4 hour window, twice per day). But once I saw how big the bike was, I could never imaging where in the heck I would put it. On transit, it wouldn't fit on the floor between the seats because there isn't enough leg room. And I wasn't crazy about putting it in the overhead for fear of it falling out. So on a crowded train, am I supposed to hold this in my lap?! It seems likely the folded (greasy/dirty) bike would damage the vinyl seats so that doesn't seem like a good option. Amtrak has a lot more space and I could see it being fine on there. The bicycle racks in the Amtrak coaches always seem empty and although you don't have to pay the extra bike fee for the Zizzo, I could see the friendly conductors just saying to use the bike racks anyway. Something that would make the Zizzo more user friendly would be a roller/caster system to transport it while folded. If I were to go to a store, the Zizzo's size means it is begging to be locked outside rather than being carried inside. It is just too heavy to carry while shopping. And maybe too big for a shopping cart. I never tried it.

My husband and I both have zizzo bikes and we could not be happier. We pitched them for our boat when we travel. Easy to put together comfortable to ride and handle. Great decision. Customer service is a 5 star as well

What a great little bike! Excellent build quality, high-components, and the ride is smooth. Well-thought folding mechanism. The lightweight wheels + high-pressure tires make it a very fast bike!

I always wanted a bike to travel around with, so a 20 inch bike has always been the idea size for me. I am a person who enjoys the outdoors. I love to stop and site see as much as possible. I have brought bikes before but could not really enjoy riding them because they only had that one speed. They can get hard to peddle on different terrain. Going up a small incline would literally ware a person out. This bike is not only easy to peddle due to having gears. It also folds to a size where it is no problem to carry in any of the vehicles I have. The build quality is way better than I expected. It has a very solid feel when being rode. It also is the lightest bike I ever owned.

I'm an engineer and I can see the quality in this product. Very happy with the price and appearance of the bike.

Excellent Bikes. We bought a Liberte' and an Urbano. Both extremely well made and look fantastic. The fit, finish and workmanship are top notch. The instructions for unpacking and pre ride check are great both in printed and video forms. The bikes ride, shift and brake smooth as glass. I wish we had these when I was a kid! Thanks so much for building such a fun bike. We are definitely happy campers!

Very pleased with the Liberte bicycle. I bought it because it was the lightest folding bike. It’s 10 pounds lighter than my mother’s 16” wheel Citizen brand bike. The Liberte rides smoothly with plenty of gears for my needs. It folds easily and quickly.

Love the bike! It’s my second ZiZZO purchase. I recommend it to all of my friends who have bikes and may be interested in a fold-up. I plan to take it on train trips, urban rides, and rails-to-trails adventures.

I have only had a couple of short rides as got this in the winter and brrr it is cold out. But from what I can tell this bike is well built and super fun to ride. I am waiting for my Swytch kit to arrive which will turn it into an ebike. I want to use this bike for international travel and the new Swytch battery will allow on planes. Can't wait to fold this bike, put on the plane and do my first trip. Zizzo does great help videos and they have been a joy to work with. Super helpful people that work for Zizzo.
