It's a great all rounder folding e-bike. It comes with more things than most E-bikes at that price like fenders and a rear rack, and an integrated front headlight thats maybe 500-600 lumens and I haven't had any issues with it so far. I mostly don't even use the electric pedal assist or throttle but it's really nice to have the option when you have inclines combined with 7 speed, or if you're just lazy. Top speed electric is about 15.5 but if pedaling on highest gear I'm able to hit 20 if I keep pedaling. The main standouts for me that made me wanna pull the trigger based on the very few youtube video reviews/written reviews I've read are that: It still functions perfectly like a normal bike with gears, added weight of the motor and electronics is not noticeable compared to 95% of other ebikes in the price range. Zizzo uses common bike parts so maintenance is easy and similar to any normal bike. No proprietary parts, basic as all hell except for the electronics but you'll have those covered by the warranty either way. Despite not having a big presence in the budget ebike community, this is one of if not the best option for first timers and enthusiasts. It still FEELS like a bicycle, and rides well with or without electric power and doesn't have the ridiculous added weight of big motors and fat tires. If thats what you're looking for and don't need an all terrain ebike, this is worth a shot.

I already owned a Zizzo Urbano, which has proven to be well-designed and constructed--a better bike than other brands I've owned. I also had a previous budget e-bike from a different manufacturer, and in addition to being low-powered, it was beginning to fail/die after just a few miles. I got a notice about the eForte, and it's what I wanted--compact, lightweight (for an e-bike), foldable, and offering Zizzo engineering and quality. I'm not looking for a beast to race with cars and look tough, but a solid bike that has ample power if/when I need it, so I can get places without arriving covered with perspiration. The eForte is also light enough that I can rely just on pedal-power for most of my routes. In short, this e-bike was custom made just for me!

EForte is a very nice bike. Easy to set up. I've really been enjoying the extra "boost" when needed. Shifting is smooth compared to my Zizzo Campo. It handles the road/trail bumps well. There is a little bit of a lurch when the Assist engages. Not that bad, but notable. I ordered the wider seat but didn't really need it. Stock seat is fine for my 72 y.o. butt. I did put the wider seat on the old Campo. And this neat little bike can just fold up and be put in the vehicle!

Easy to ride , powerful motor . Very compact easy to fold . Great value recommend purchase .

This bike is so much fun. I use it every day to ride around town and on our crushed limestone trails. It is such a cute bike. I love the lightweight design. I love the flexibility with the seat and handlebar height. It’s so easy to get on and off. I am using this mainly for exercise so most of the time I am doing all the work. The 20” wheels are easier to pedal than my 26” wheels. A lot of the streets around here are full of potholed and I have found that if I pedal in a lower gear the ride is quite smooth. I enjoy the leisurely riding style I have with it. The best thing about this is that it has opened up the whole town for bike riding. There were so many streets I avoided before because they had too many uphill stretches. Now I can ride on any street with no more effort than I want to put in. I love this bike! It was so easy to get used to the controls. Very little learning curve. The way I use it the battery lasts at least a week or two before it needs recharging. I love that the battery is so easy to remove. It charges pretty quickly and the lights let you know when it’s fully charged. I love the seat on this bike. It’s very comfortable. I have to admit if you made a seat for it that had some type if spring in it to absorb bumps, I would buy that. The unboxing was fun. The bike should win an award for best packaging. The vibe of this bike is that it was designed and manufactured by really competent, caring, on-the-ball people. Thank you for your work! ZIZZO! Even a cool name. This bike has multiplied my biking options many, many, many times over. Thank you!

The eForte works well for what I bought it for. My wife likes to go riding with me occasionally. Not that I am fast (12 mph avg), but she is much slower. I bought the e-Forte so we could ride together without having to slow down too much. This has worked out very well. The fact that it came in Teal made it an easy sell. The problem for most people is that you need to get the bike to a place you can ride. Even if you have a car with a good hitch mounted bike rack, you still have to drive around with a bike hanging off your car. I am a big fan of foldable bikes because they are easy to transport. I have a couple of foldable bikes, now including an eForte, that fit nicely in the trunk of my VW Passat. Most electric bikes including many that advertise themselves as portable are heavy monstrosities. The e-Forte is relatively light and portable. I can put the e-Forte and one of my other folding bikes in the back of the mini-van and go riding with my wife. This was obviously not designed from the ground up to be an e-bike. It is just an electric version of the Forte. I consider this to be a good thing. With the assist off, you end up with a Forte and it rides great. There is probably some extra drag from the motor, but it is not readily perceptible. Based on this, I would recommend the non-electric Forte if you don't need the assist. Price is definitely a factor. All designs are a tradeoff between competing goals. I feel the tradeoffs that were made to sell the bike at this price point were well done. Things that I like: 1. The whole bike feels very robust, especially the hinges. 2. The price is very good. 3. The bike is relatively light weight and portable. Not big things, but things that I wish were different: 1. I wish the handlebars folded to the outside instead of between the two halfs to eliminate the need to rotate the handlebar and extend the stem. The issue is the difficulty with fitting things on the handlebar that might impede the fold as well as the extra steps to extend the stem and rotate the handlebars. 2. Along the lines of the above comment, I wish the drive train ended up in the middle of the fold to protect the drive train as well as keep the dirty chain from rubbing against things. Note there is no derailleur guard. My needs are pretty well covered between the e-Forte and some other bikes, but I think a Forte with internal hub gearing like the Alfine 8 would be awesome.

I am not a instruction booklet type of a guy, I can say it was very easy to unfold the bike and put it together.

Easy to ride and seems very sturdy.

Works well in pedal assist, and is light enough to pedal as a regular bike. My complaints at this time are 1) poor shifting from third to fourth gear, and the occasional sensation of a 'missed tooth' in the drivetrain; 2) the rapid acceleration if starting from a stop. The bike is both fun, and can be a work-out. Still getting comfortable with the throttle and cruise control. They can be distracting In a crowded urban setting

Two weeks 264 miles tire broke. I been using it for primary transportation. And I pretty much ride it only on rodes sidewalks and bike trails functioned pretty good until it the back tire hit a bump and came entirely undone. Also the seat is a pain in my butt literally for long rides. On another note because it's a folding bike storage has been easier and I was able to call an Uber to get where I needed and get home when the tire gave out. As for the Ebike functions I generally use it as a normal bike and turn on the assist for busier rodes or going up very steep hills. Pretty much everywhere else I use my legs. 3.4/5. Functional.

My wife really is enjoying her eforte. Its so much lighter and compact than her lectric 2.0. She has no issues folding it up and putting it in the car herself. We plan to use her eforte and my forte for many trips.

Very nicely done. I have non-electric Forte bikes and so the manual part of the bike is very familiar. Very tidy package.

I have been riding bicycles since my first Schwinn in elementary school. I am now in my 80’s and have own all types of bicycles. I bought my first folding bike, a Liberte, several months ago and I ride it almost daily. It works well with Amtrak travel and car/truck travel. I decided to get the e-Forte to try out the electric addition. I aired the tires, charged the battery, did a safety check, and took it to a beach trail in my pickup for a trial run. Great experience!! Everything worked well. In my opinion— ZiZZO bikes are great bikes and value!

Love this bike! Got it as one that I could easily put in the trunk along with my 6 year old’s kid bike. It rides really well and is sturdy enough for this 200+ lb adult. It arrived amazingly packaged in a super sturdy cardboard box with enough packing material that nothing could easily shake loose. Liked it so much I bought an urbano for my wife.

This bike is a joy to ride. It will fit almost anyone and it’s comfortable to ride. I have put several hundred miles on this bike and I’ve not had any issues. The components are all made by Shimano so parts or a mechanic for this bike are easy to find. Build quality is good without any shortcuts on the bike. The display screen is easy to use and is easy to see even in bright sunlight. Even though it doesn’t have disc brakes like most bikes the caliper brakes are really good easy to use and almost maintenance free. If I could change anyone thing about this bike, it would be the 15 mile an hour limit that the controller has. I know that this was done for safety rations, but I do like to go a little bit faster at times. I highly recommend this bike to anyone is looking for a good commuter bike or an every day bike to ride because it’s so enjoyable. More than once, I’ve gotten over 30 miles on a charge on Hilly Roads, so it does really well on mileage. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone

Nice and strurdy e-bike. Good build Quality, easy to fold and store. However, no Torque Sensor, outdated Shimano Tourney Derailleurs - mixed feelings about that bike. With improved derailleurs (like the 2024 Forte) and a torque sensor, this bike would be a genius deal.

i like almost everything about this bike. up to about 100 miles and every one of them has been fun. i've been told "it's beautiful" in three languages so far :). it has taken me a while to learn to use the gears and assist-levels together, but at this point i am challenging myself and going top speed while getting plenty of exercise. two things i'd change: - don't understand why it's limited to 15 mph. i ride my standard bike at 20+ when i can and i find it mildly frustrating that in top gear on level ground it's tough to go more than 17 because of the small wheels and getting no help from the motor, which clearly has the power to assist if not limited. - it'd be great to be able to roll the bike when folded, but it's tough because when dropped all the way to make the needed stand, the seat is too low to do this comfortably. a two-legged kickstand would make it possible to roll by keep the seat high and holding onto it.

Bike is exactly as advertised and described. It came securely packaged and after watching the three short videos it was easy to set up and charge. The seat is not very comfortable, but I did have my hamstring re-attached last year and the scar is right where the saddle hits my fanny. I ordered a gel cover from Amazon and it's a bit better. It folds easily and easily fits in the back of my Subaru Ascent. I secure it using bungee cords and the hooks in my car. I bought this mainly for camping and so far it is just what I wanted. My camping buddies were impressed. One thing: I stopped to talk to people, had the pedal assist set at one, had one foot on the ground and one foot on the pedal as I sat on the seat; the bike must have sensed a slight pressure on the pedal because it kicked into motion, I instinctively applied the breaks, the bike reared up on me, I fell with the bike on top of me. Lesson: always set pedal assist to zero when stopped. I would like Zizzo to respond to this issue. I would definitely recommend this bike to others.

ZIZZO! PAY ATTENTION TO THIS! I am quite happy with my E-Forte. In ten days I've put over 150 miles, about 10% of which were on packed gravel trails. It handled everything surprisingly well. The single glaring problem with this bike is Zizzo's use of a Shimano Tourney derailleur, which has proved to be an absolute piece of sh....not a good product. It kept skipping, ghost-shifting, dropping gears (call it what you like). The Tourney derailleur turned pleasant rides into annoying pains in the ass. Fortunately, there's an easy solution: I replaced the Tourney POS with a Shimano Acera derailleur ($35), and I haven't had a problem since. If Zizzo can't make this change up front, I strongly recommend anyone getting the E-Forte do so on their own. The Tourney POS is the single reason the E-Forte only gets 4 of 5 stars from me.

This bike was very well packaged in a double box. The only thing I had to do was put a little bit of air in the tires, and charge the battery and I was off riding. I was really surprised at how much zip it has for such a small bike. It Pedals easy even with the motor turned off and it shifts smoothly and crisp, and the brakes are fantastic. I haven’t tested how far I can write it yet, but the battery seems to last a good amount of time. I highly recommend this e-bike to anyone that is wanting a lightweight, super portable bike either for long distance or commuting It would be fantastic.

Not sure I like it, but I do not discount the quality. I have not gotten where I can take it down the road yet. It seems a little hard to ride, but I think it is just me. I think it has something to do with its compact design. Bike came packaged extremely well. It was easy to put together with some help with phone help. The company really needs to make a video on the electric part of the bike. There was only a video on the standard bike which was very good.

I already had 2 Zizzo bikes (Urbano and Via) so I know the brand makes accessible, quality, and fun bikes. Zizzo's have got me back into riding. Being able to fold them up and easily transport them to a park or riding trails is a game changer. When I heard they were coming out with an ebike, I was super excited and on board, eagerly awaiting their release. I was not disappointed. It feels and looks like a regular Zizzo except for the delight of being able to meet hills with no concern anymore because a push is available. The bike is solid and the performance has been great. Braking, shifting and components are all really good. I think the torque is surprising for such a small battery, because it definitely delivers a significant boost. I like that there is a headlight, but the only thing I would strongly recommend is that Zizzo includes a working brake light. I purchased an after market one to place on the back of the rack, but brake lights are really a non negotiable safety feature these days. So, please in future versions, please include a brake light. Their customer service is also so accommodating and helpful! Well done, Zizzo! I highly recommend this ebike to anyone who wants a fun ride.

The bike came packed very well and instructions are clear. I'm 6'2" and was surprised how well it fits at the maximum extension, and it feels solid. My only caution is that there are 5 power zones for pedal assist, and the slowest (#1) takes you to 10 mph. On my first ride the bike path had a sharp left turn starting up a very steep hill. As I began to pedal around the corner the power assist kicked in so powerfully I started to do a wheelie until I quit pedaling. I wish zone 1 was slower, and there was more gap between each of the 5 zones. Overall it works well and will be a nice addition to our camping trips.

Glad I waited to buy an e-bike. This fits my requirements. All I wanted was an e-bike that was easy to lift in and out of my Outback, that would assist with some extra power for the difficult inclines, and is able to be a regular pedal bike. Great job Zizzo folks.

Hubby has been looking for affordable folding bikes (electric for me) and came across Zizzo in his research. We live in a condo with limited storage, elevator, etc.. Hubby ordered the ZIZZO Urbano (Red). After trying his out, we ordered the ZIZZO E-Forte (Teal) electric folding bike for me (I'm a petite 61 yr old). These bikes are easy to fold as the videos show. They fit in our small storage closet & the "trunk" of our CRV. We also ordered the Folding Lock and that works great as well (should have ordered 2). These bikes are perfect for what we need (biking around town, bike paths, etc.). I've resisted folding bikes for quite awhile, but ZIZZO changed my mind. I love that I can keep it in "bike mode" (peddle power) and can add battery power only when needed. Customer service has excellent response, follow thru & follow up. Highly recommend this bike company.

This bike folds up nice and compact. Just the right balance of features on a bike I can fit inside the trunk of a sedan. No bicycle carrier needed, and space is saved in my house. The electric assist is such a a nice addition.

Love this bike! this is my second zizzo, my first is a liberte'. I love that one too but wanted some help on the hills. The e-forte rides effortlessly if you want it to or you can get whatever amount of workout you want. Great job Zizzo! Tony and Janie were also Great to work with.
