Very nice bike, it's fast for a folder. Was ready to go right out of the box. The wheels were straight, the brakes and gears were set spot on.

Purchased three Liberte bikes for me, my wife and our 8yo son. These bikes are for trips on our 36' sailboat - so we can bike around ports while on summer vacation.
These bikes are great! Simple to use, solid, well-designed, they look good. We went on a few rides so far to try them out - they work well from the smallest (our 8yo) to largest (me at 6' and 240lbs) in our family. They do require some amount of fixing / tuning / adjusting ability . . . just like with a regular bike. Or you could take to a bike shop for tuning.
And they're very reasonably priced for folding bikes compared to other options.

Really like this bike. Only a couple of small issues with a refurbished model. Smooth ride.

It doesn't take up much space when folded. The locking mechanisms are easy to operate. The bike rides like a dream. The wheels were already filled with air, so it was ready to go. It's a little heavier than I expected but light enough for commuting on the subway. I'm happy with my purchase.

I am new (or renew) to bikes after many moons and had no trouble getting used to this Liberte' foldup marvel. Great ride and feel for me using it mostly for casual rides. Foldability is a quick learn. Very pleased with my choice of this model which does require some "bike savvy". Very well made and packaged (refurbished? it was like new)!

This is my 4th Liberte. Only one was purchased new. I think the refurbished bikes are the best value out there.

I love the bike, easy to use, lightweight and fast

Sleek and light. Rides smoothly.

Purchased the Liberte and first off amazed at how fast shipped and well packaged it was. We had a Giant folding and this was MUCH lighter! Takes a bit more work folding and unfolding, but we’ll get used to it. Plan to purchase another soon.

Great bike for commuting to work. Easily fits into the trunk of my car and also neatly fits into the corner of my office.

I was really impressed by the light weight. The solid build was also notable. I’m about 5 feet 9” In height, and this probably was about in the middle of the range this bike can accommodate. The gearing Was very good, I was able to muster some reasonable inclines, but maintain excellent speed with acceptable cadence on flat trails. I took my children to the Delaware Atlantic ocean beach trails,And we all had a blast. I was able to fit two bicycles in the trunk of a Tesla model three

I'm delighted with my refurb Liberte'! The quality is outstanding, the ride is comfortable, the gearing is ideal, and it folds up to put in the trunk of the car for travel. Very impressive piece of engineering!

Bought the Liberte for biking around NYC, and has been great for both going fast enough and for hills and bridges

Great bike. Really notice the light weight relative to the Campo. We were able to fit both in the relatively small luggage compartment of a Cirrus SR-22 for an amazing fly-in-bike-in backpacking adventure.

Bought it for my wife as a commuter bike and both me and her like it alot. I plan on getting a "Urbano" soon if it is available.

The bike itself is good, but disappointing that screws and bolts are not Stainless Steel.
After only a couple of weeks I have rust on the bikes.
Surely it would have not expensive to use quality Stainless Steel instead of these cheap rusting bolts.

Me and my whole family are very happy and enjoying their bike rides. Bikes are awesome and eye catching.

Love the bikes - when folded they fit nicely into the back of our camper van. When we reach a destination, they allow us to get around the locality. The only complaint is the seats are a little hard for my old butt, despite my natural padding!
Walter L.
The condition of these refurbished bikes were as new, not a mark on them.
I very happy surprise, as we were not sure what we are going to get.

My wife and I are 64 years old. We have older bikes for our cabin and hated taking the front wheels off to haul them to our condo and to FL in the winter. Now, we'll fold both Zizzos and packing and luggage room just become MUCH easier. A great decision.
Bill A.
Nice bike! Could use a slightly smaller front gear (by the pedal) nice and light!
Ali P.
Thought it might be average quality compared to my more expensive bikes, not at all. This bike is super stable, study, fast, and all around amazing. Very portable. Easily compete against those pro looking people with all their gear. Super fast and great geers. Being refurbished didnt make a difference in terms of aesthetics or performance. Highly satisfied and recommended.
Caroline M.
Took me a bit to do the fold and unfold but once I got familiar with it, I am very happy.

Love the bike! It is easy to fold and very lightweight. It rides great just like a full size bike.
Highly recommend.
Neville B.
Fun riding it but sometimes the front brakes kick in and stops the front wheel from moving. Nearly had a bad accident!

looking for a folding bike to carry in my sailboat, needed the following specs.
1)light, under 30 lb. to facilitate transfer to and from the boat. (23 lbs. makes it the lightest in this price range)
2) as "marinized" as possible because the exposure to salt environment. Note I do not expect totally rust proof.
3) Value (my definition of value is (cost vs satisfaction return)
4) Ride comfort is important as have been an avid biker all my life, balance issues demanded to stop the use of my cross country bike, have been using a adult tricycle for exercise outdoors and now replaced by this bike ,feel more secure and ride a more conventional bike.
5) Purchased as a refurbished unit with a significant saving, the unit came in original double box, and was packaged with the same care as if it was a new unit, that speaks a lot about this company, they protected my investment and it shows, appreciate that.
6)The YouTube presentation to assemble it is very nice. and helpful)
Just ordered couple of inner tubes as backup, price was competitive and delivery fast.
All in all a very pleasant company to do business with, I believe they are customer satisfaction oriented.
Fully recommended.

Nifty little bike with great features for a great price.

Well built and fun to ride.

Bought 2 refurbished Liberte bikes, racks, covers, and phone holders. Put them right on the boat and have already ridden all over Montauk and Shelter Island. They are awesome! Easy to pack up and stow so are there when we want them. For us, they literally mean freedom when we arrive at a new harbor. They ride great- solid feel, very responsive, highly adjustable to fit both me and my wife, great range of gears for up and down hills. Fantastic!

I love this bike! It fits easily in my car, is the lightest bike out there, adjusts perfectly and rides well. Since it was refurbished, when I got it the gears weren’t working so I did have to take it to a bike shop to get it going. That was disappointing, but otherwise I am extremely happy with my new ride!
Young Joo L.
Got this for commuting- since there are so many bike theft in the city, this bike is ideal to take with me on the subway. It's lightweight and rides quite fast, though the wheel is smaller than the ones I rode before. Highly recommended for people who likes to take their bike anywhere around the city.

I was sick of buying bikes for daughters who are just going to grow out of them in a year. I was also sick of replacing rusted parts because of having to store bikes outside for lack of indoor storage space. I was also sick of only being able to ride around our apartment as a family. I bought two of these bikes for my two daughters and problems solved! What sold me is the claim that the Zizzo is for people between the heights of 4' 8" to 6' 3". My daughter is exactly 4' 8" and I am exactly 6' 3." We can both ride it comfortably. More importantly, unless my daughter surpasses me in height, I will never have to buy her another bike again!

Shifting hanger bent, kick stand poor quality(the red liberte we received was perfect, slightly different kick stand as well). Had trek dealer straighten out hanger, worked for a while, but making noise and slipping off sprocket again.. On a trip for another week. Can I get a replacement hanger?
The design and overall bike is great, the execution of this refurbished bike is not good.

Love these bikes, bought two, fun to ride, great quality, light weight, great fun!
Stephen L.
Fit and finish is excellent. The lightweight makes transporting so easy. And as advertised this bike is fast. Excellent value that I would recommend to anyone.
John S.
Best bike ever I owned, my previous foldable bike not even close in quality or engineering
