If I were marketing this, I would have called it something like the Creek Trail as a tongue-in-cheek reference to how much the aluminum creaks. I find myself letting up on the cranks when I pass people to keep the noise under control. As far as the bicycle goes, I'm satisfied. I got it on sale, though. Had I paid full price, I would have sent it back.
Starting with the things I like: The shifting was as smooth as butter out of the box and still is several months later. I've avoided grip type shifting which I always saw as an illegitimate gimmick but dang if it doesn't just work. Happy with it. The folding clamps are tight and not at all fiddly. The frame clamp is perfect. The tubes actually hold air! I filled them when they arrived and months later have not noticed them going down which is insane at 100psi. The Noname brand brake levers do their job. Now that I've dropped the bike while trying to unfold it, I'm glad the levers aren't crazy $$. As far as folded size goes, it easily fits into the back of our Honda cute ute. Maybe even two would fit. A thoughtful addition to the Zizzo is the height marks for the handlebar stem and seat post which make it easy to set the bike back up the same way every time you unfold it.
Some criticism: To say this thing is not stiff is an understatement. The handlebars flex. The folding pedals flex. The frame flexes. For reference, I have been riding the same chromo no suspension MTB for the last 30 years. And nothing on that ever flexed. The only thing that doesn't seem to flex is the seat post. I might try different pedals. Nothing I can do about the stem flex. Something else I find annoying is that the stem clamp always moves into the latch position as I'm trying to unfold the bike which means I have to stop, free up a hand, open the clamp again, then finish unfolding the stem so it can be clamped.
One comical thing that happened to me on about my tenth ride was that the handlebar stem clamp which adjusts the handlebar height wasn't tight enough but I didn't realize it and as I rode, it slowly went down until, perplexed, I got off of the bike because I was so uncomfortable that I was ready to throw the bike in the creek. Lo and behold, it was a minor glitch easily rectified.
At the time of purchase, I was needing to ride a train for a few short weeks. Bikes like the Zizzo are allowed as luggage or carry-on for my local train as well as Amtrak (on my local train, bikes are not allowed during rush hour which they deem about a 4 hour window, twice per day). But once I saw how big the bike was, I could never imaging where in the heck I would put it. On transit, it wouldn't fit on the floor between the seats because there isn't enough leg room. And I wasn't crazy about putting it in the overhead for fear of it falling out. So on a crowded train, am I supposed to hold this in my lap?! It seems likely the folded (greasy/dirty) bike would damage the vinyl seats so that doesn't seem like a good option. Amtrak has a lot more space and I could see it being fine on there. The bicycle racks in the Amtrak coaches always seem empty and although you don't have to pay the extra bike fee for the Zizzo, I could see the friendly conductors just saying to use the bike racks anyway.
Something that would make the Zizzo more user friendly would be a roller/caster system to transport it while folded. If I were to go to a store, the Zizzo's size means it is begging to be locked outside rather than being carried inside. It is just too heavy to carry while shopping. And maybe too big for a shopping cart. I never tried it.

My husband and I both have zizzo bikes and we could not be happier. We pitched them for our boat when we travel. Easy to put together comfortable to ride and handle. Great decision. Customer service is a 5 star as well
Gianluca O.
What a great little bike! Excellent build quality, high-components, and the ride is smooth. Well-thought folding mechanism. The lightweight wheels + high-pressure tires make it a very fast bike!
Pierre M.
I always wanted a bike to travel around with, so a 20 inch bike has always been the idea size for me. I am a person who enjoys the outdoors. I love to stop and site see as much as possible. I have brought bikes before but could not really enjoy riding them because they only had that one speed. They can get hard to peddle on different terrain. Going up a small incline would literally ware a person out. This bike is not only easy to peddle due to having gears. It also folds to a size where it is no problem to carry in any of the vehicles I have. The build quality is way better than I expected. It has a very solid feel when being rode. It also is the lightest bike I ever owned.
Roy S.
I'm an engineer and I can see the quality in this product. Very happy with the price and appearance of the bike.
Tim S.
Excellent Bikes. We bought a Liberte' and an Urbano. Both extremely well made and look fantastic. The fit, finish and workmanship are top notch. The instructions for unpacking and pre ride check are great both in printed and video forms. The bikes ride, shift and brake smooth as glass. I wish we had these when I was a kid! Thanks so much for building such a fun bike. We are definitely happy campers!
Diane B.
Very pleased with the Liberte bicycle. I bought it because it was the lightest folding bike. It’s 10 pounds lighter than my mother’s 16” wheel Citizen brand bike. The Liberte rides smoothly with plenty of gears for my needs. It folds easily and quickly.
Harold H.
Love the bike! It’s my second ZiZZO purchase. I recommend it to all of my friends who have bikes and may be interested in a fold-up. I plan to take it on train trips, urban rides, and rails-to-trails adventures.
Jacinta S.
I have only had a couple of short rides as got this in the winter and brrr it is cold out. But from what I can tell this bike is well built and super fun to ride. I am waiting for my Swytch kit to arrive which will turn it into an ebike.
I want to use this bike for international travel and the new Swytch battery will allow on planes. Can't wait to fold this bike, put on the plane and do my first trip.
Zizzo does great help videos and they have been a joy to work with. Super helpful people that work for Zizzo.
Gersson M.
bought a pair... we will be cruising with in in Doha, during the WC

I was looking for a bike that is both versatile and practical. So I watched a few review videos on youtube and decided to buy the Zizzo Liberte. After riding the bike, so far, for 50 miles in NYC, I can state that the Liberte has met my expectations. The bike is super light and agile and responds well on the road and primary trails. On a different note, because I also ride a Trek Émonda SL 6 during the weekends and on long rides, I made two minor modifications to the Liberte. I upgraded the chainring to 58T to increase the speed and changed the shifter to a SHIMANO SL-M315-8R 8-Speed for more reliable shifting. Other than that, the bike is fantastic as is.
Donald R.
I received my refurbished Liberte a few days ago and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I compliments my Zizzo Ferro that I purchase in the spring. The Ferro is great for rough surfaces and light trail riding and the Liberte is a sheer joy to ride on smoother road surfaces. A tire change could easily expand the Liberte's capabilities but I'm happy using it as my "road" bike for now.
If Zizzo comes out with a disc brake model, sign me up!
Sean L.
What a great high quality bike! It is lightweight but not light in quality! It folds easily and we're really looking forward to bringing them in our RV when we camp. We bought two of them and are SO pleased with them!
Robert S.
Incredibly lite. So easy to pedal.
Very comfortable. Already purchased a second bike.
Sean L.
The bike was really easy to prepare following shipping. The videos were very helpful. It was surprising how comfortable the seat was. It folds and unfolds very easily and is comfortable to ride. Really like the bike!
eric c.
Did not really know what to think when I ordered the bike. Once it arrived I was blown away by the quality of the bike. I have a cannondale road bike but I enjoy riding my zizzo better. Highly recommend this bike.
Douglas G.
This is my second Zizzo bike. The first was the Via and I was very pleased with that one. The Liberte is equally as good and it was money well spent.
Paul
My wife and I both have the Liberte’. Love the bikes. Very light weight, relatively fast, and comfortable. We have done some 20 and 30 mile bike rides. Some people complain about the seats but we find them very comfortable. The folding is very simple and quick - especially like the way the magnets hold the bike together when folded.
Ed K.
I have a Zizzo Liberte and a Brompton M6R. I prefer the Zizzo. It doesn't fold down as small as the Brompton, but it's lighter, accelerates faster, easier to shift, has a more powerful stroke, goes uphill easier, has a higher top speed, is faster on like terrain, is more fun to ride, and I can take the zizzo on dirt paths, which is nearly impossible with the Brompton. The Brompton folds smaller, has better brakes, is more well known, and may last longer; likely because when I do ride, I usually take my Zizzo.
Marty G.
Love this little bike that rides like a big bike!! The quality is excellent. Shifting very smooth. Unpacked it and rode 6 miles just to try it out. No adjustments. Ride every day now. I highly recommend this little/big bike.
Robert S.
Love my Zizzo Liberte! The light weight and compact folidng means I use it more than my previous Trek full-sized hybrid. I first bought the Via and liked it so much, I had to get the lightest one and so bought the Liberte. I will say the seat is too hard on the Liberte and much nicer on the Via. Otherwise my friends are all jealous of my portable bike.
Bruce Z.
Love the bike, easy to set up. The crankshaft does make a clanking sound when I pedal tho.
Nicoletta B.
This bike is extremely light and makes commuting really easy. Not a fan of the taillight, it broke the first day (probably because it's right below the seat, so subject to pressure when you fold it).
Hamid M.
Great bike, seems sturdy and folds well. I purchased it to take it on the train to work, it's working well so far! The gear system looks great, and speed is not bad. Overall very satisfied!
Peter F.
Folds up much more compact than a competitors bike we own. Being aluminum it is also much lighter! Love the bike!
Larry R.
I already have a black and silver liberte. I love it so much I bought the red and silver one. The bikes are well built. They fold easily. They are fast and comfortable to ride.
Robyn R.
Love everything about the bike—how it folds, how it rides, etc! Despite the fact that my new brake pads were scraping and that the headset was creaking, their website showed what the potential issues could've been (with tutorials and visual guides ). After looking at that, my bike practically ran brand new. Packaging was excellent, since nothing came in damaged or scratched. Delivery came on time, and with the price, I just couldn't beat it. I plan to ride the bike across the country in a few months. Will be looking forward to my new adventure!
David V.
This is my second Zizzo Liberte and now I own 4 Zizzo bikes.
1. Excellent frame design.
2. Great Shimano components.
I added Shimano 105 carbon pedals. You can easily make your bike lighter and faster. Great value and so much fun
David V.
This my third Zizzo. The Liberte has exceeded my expectations. This bike has replaced my high end road bikes.
1. Super light
2. Beautiful style
3. Quick handling and fast.
ATANAS G.
Awesome bike, ready to ride out of the box, shift like a dream, even tires are pumped and ready.Super high quality components for unbelievable low price , rides like a dream I own 3 foldable, road, mountain, fixie bikes, never been so happy with new bike like Zizzo straight about of the box .I was thinking to by Brompton first bit after I test rode it and check the price I decided that Brompton it is not worth it, price tag there is$1500....My advice forget Brompton and get Zizzo!!!

I love the Liberte! I've had the bike now for about a month and ride it everyday mostly for fun both in the City and on touring bike paths. The folding design is great for putting in the back of my SUV so I can always have my Liberte at the ready when I travel. The lightweight nature of the bike also is handy for moving the bike around when not riding. I highly recommend the Zizzo Liberte but would encourage anyone interested in a folding bike to review the full line of Zizzo folding bikes. The quality at this price will be hard to beat!
Robert S.
The Zizzo Liberte folding bicycle is in a word "fun"! It's lightweight and easily folded so that it can be taken into shops in the City eliminating the need for locks. Equally well, it's up for touring bike paths as well as city streets. The design is sporty and I get many smiles and compliments as I ride by people. Best of all, the folding design let's me take it in my UTE when I travel eliminating the hassle of bike racks. There are many folding bikes on the market but, before you buy, be sure to check out the full line of Zizzo bikes. The quality is excellent at these price points.
Grace C.
It’s very light. Folding takes a little bit of time to get used to. Have taken it on the subway a couple of times and there’s no problem. The handlebars are a little squeaky when riding, other than that I’m looking forward to modifying it to be my commuter.
Gwen H.
I love my bike so much and so does my husband that we are ordering one for him tonight.
It is so light I can carry it up the front steps (I keep it in our house). We live in a small SC coastal city and I can ride to the river and about town so easily. I can even take it into the stores to the delight of people who see it. I will send photo after our rainy summer days have passed. Thank you for making such a pretty and functional bike.
Chris B.
The Liberte' replaces my 30 year-old Dahon Helios. I swapped out the pedals with mini toe clips, rear rack, and Cane Creek Thudbuster seat post. Also the hippo! The only thing I miss is the front shock. Ergo grips would be one more nice touch. The Liberte' provides exceptional quality at a bargain price (about a third of my old foldie). The quality is noticeable with the simplified shifting (rear only), the silent chain, aluminum frame, and the folding joints. I use it to run errands around Yountville. It's quick and fun to ride. Before I found the Zizzo site, I was considering a heavier one-speed for about the same price. It had horrible quality reviews. Thank you, reviewers, for saving me the pain and helping me eventually find Zizzo!

Upgraded from an Urbano (stolen) to Liberte for the street tires and lighter weight. I can feel the difference in the tires, which seem to glide better and are a little quieter. The bike feels a little lighter on the road and when carrying, which is helpful in my commuting. The seat may be a little less comfortable but I think I’m already used to it after about 10 rides. Fit and finish are great and it’s a pleasure to ride!
Robert S.
This 20 inch folding bike is as smooth, stable, and comfortable pedaling on shallow inclines and across flats as my 29 inch carbon fiber bike. It’s light enough to carry up 3 flights of stairs and folds to fit easily in the back of my car. Absolutely love everything but the tiny hard (quickly replaced) seat. Happy I bought it.
Albert S.
Solid purchase. Reports of Liberte stock seat being uncomfortable are untrue, at least for me (and I have a Brooks saddle on my other ride). The fold is just so-so, but it's fairly lightweight for a folding bike .. a solid plus in my book. Another plus is that a lot of the components on the bike are fairly standard, so it's not too hard to service if and when the need arises.
Daniel G.
Just what I needed at a reasonable price!!!
Stephen S.
This bike is super fun and versatile.
Frank Z.
Great bike. Would like if it had one more gear on both the high and low ends.
Chee T.
Amazing Bike. Will refer to my friend.
Kimberly H.
I've had this bike for a few months and have put a lot of miles on it. I'm glad I did my research before buying because this is the perfect bike for me. I share an apartment and a big bike is not feasible. I wanted a folder that rides like a full size and this is it. I've added a new seat and bar ends for my comfort. I've had other folders in the past and this is miles above. I could have spent $2K for another brand but then I would be scared to lock it outside a store for 5 minutes. Kudos to ZiZZO for building an amazing bike at a great price point.
Eric R.
There are really no words, to adequately describe this bike until you see it in person. It's like looking at a regular horse, then seeing a thoroughbred, or a stallion, it's poetry in motion. She's sleek, she's light, and very fast!!!
ALAN Y.
Great bike for my wife...a 73-year old learner. Had to adjust front brakes. They did not allow the wheel to turn. Otherwise, great.
Beth S.
Amazing ride! I couldn’t be happier! Thank you!
Joseph C.
First off. WOW! My expectation was this would be a quality product but when I opened mine up today along with the trainer and a few other accessories, my expectations were set low. This is truly a well built bike. I absolutely love the paint finish. Everything came in box pre assembled. I did my own check on the brakes, tires, connectors, latch points, true wheel spin and all the bolts and literally nothing was out of tolerance. Added a little air to the tires and was ready to roll. If I have a complaint however, it would be the magnet and metal disc. One of them is slightly bent and so it doesn't make a solid connect when folded and thus doesn't do a great job keeping the bike closed however, it is a very minor fault and nothing I can't fix myself. In the mean time, the included strap works perfectly in place of said fault for now, so I am happy that was included. It's been a long time since I've ridden a bike and it took me all of two seconds to feel like a little kid again. Gears shift amazingly smooth and 4th gear feels absolutely perfect for level roads without cause for any strain I do have to get used to the 20 inch wheels though. It definitely steers fast and has a tight turn radius if you're not careful. In conclusion, if you are on the fence about getting one, just get one. You will be so happy you did. Thank you Zizzo.
Revae S.
Great bike! Can't wait to take it on trips.
Tam K.
Great bike—rides smoothly, looks good (I get a lot of compliments on the bike), folds easily although a bit too many steps, quality parts, and is lightweight! I’m experiencing a bit of an issue with rolling the bike while folded but luckily I don’t need to roll it often. Regardless, it doesn’t detract from the fact that it’s a great bike.
Tin Q.
I love the bike,thanks
David L.
It’s definitely a road bike if I had to compare it’s like a specialized but not quite a cannondale Im glad I have that xtra gear and upgrades. Very light.even though I considered the forte light. (My wife has a forte). If I could built my own It would be this model with forte weight capacity, grips and seat everything else the same. I love my new little fast bikemy kids as well which means they want to go bike riding with us more often for that reason alone I would recommend this bike
Angie X.
Really nice bike. I only have two complaints. First, the seat padding is a little too thin and it sometimes hurts a bit. Second, the wheels are a little too small, resulting in me flying into the air whenever I hit a bump. Overall, this is a pretty good bike and I highly recommend.
Matt B.
My wife and I love our Zizzo bikes! I bought the Liberte for her. I have an Urbano. They both ride very smooth and have exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to ride these in local parks. Thank you for excellent bikes!
Kim F.
I have had my Liberte for almost a year and am so glad I bought it. It is comfortable, lightweight and easy to transport in the trunk of my car.
Larry P.
I was taken back, after my first ride. It rode as if it was a regular bike, much more than I expected. After reading some instruction, I took it out of the box and it needed nothing. I was off down the street. The quality is impressive. When looking for a folding bike, I found some at lower prices, but you get what you pay for. I feel I got excellent value for money spent. I highly recommend this product.

This is a fun little bike, with good components and pretty darn light. It runs great right outa the box on streets and does surprisingly well on light trails, too. A good value with a couple of nitpicks.
The tires were chosen to keep the weight down, I suppose, but they are awful, with zero ability to smooth out the bumps. Even tiny sidewalk cracks vibrate right up your spine. Some good BMX tires solved the issue to the tune of about $60.
Also, the saddle is way too narrow and fit only for a kid because is it presses right up between your hip bones into the soft tissue. Basically unusable. Another $30 fixed that, too.
With those two issues corrected, it feels like a whole new bike. Interestingly Lizzo has cheaper bikes with much better tires. Not sure about the saddles.
Also, the quick release brakes didn't open far enough to remove the wheels, so I had to loosen the brake pads. Correctly repositioning them takes forever and makes me realize how much I don't miss cantilever brakes.
Maximiliano B.
I gifted a new one to my wife and now we’re riding our bikes together!!

2020 H.S. Grad gift for One of my twin sons pictured. He is the “more selective” type & had searched hrs on internet 2Find the his #1 ~ The Liberte’ is an excellent quick folding bike that exceeded his expectations in terms of Quality , Style , 20 inch Public Trans , Amtrak Commute Standards , Performance & Foldability. Right now , he is taking UC pre~college courses over the Summer & will write the review himself when time permits .

To be honest about this review my daughter turned me on to ZIZZO BIKES. At first i was very skeptical about purchasing a Bike online from a company that was not familiar to me. After much research, reading several reviews and riding my daughters ZIZZO CAMPO i was very impressed.
I received my ZIZZO LIBERTE on Tuesday. It was very easy to assemble and after making some minor adjustments to the brakes and gear controls i took it for ride. The more i rode the bike the more i wanted to ride. The LIBERTE is light weight fast especially going up hills and FUN to ride. I also spoke with Lewis in customer support which he was a great help. "Happy Riding"
willie w.
Love it and the ride is great
Jose S.
Had it for couple of weeks and go to work almost every day. Loving it! Feels sturdier than I thought it would.
Maximiliano B.
I’m really enjoying my bike!!! My wife like it too and she’d like to buy one when it’s available.
Asian T.
Great and so light weight, strong bike.
Ricky D.
The Liberte folding bike is amazing I really like how it rides it just wants to goo it is very light weight and easy to ride. It makes you just want to keep riding especially with the Gears makes it really easy for going up hills. The only Downside is the Seat is not as comfortable for long rides but that didn’t stop me from liking the bike. I ended up swapping out the seat for some more comfortable ones and that solves the problem. Other than that I will highly recommend in buying the Liberte I got two of the silver and red ones for me and my wife we love it. Get a comfortable seat and ride on.
Robert W.
These Zizzo Bikes are great quality, I have bought 3 Zizzo bikes. My first one (Urbano) I purchased to bring to New Zealand for 3 months, and it performed great! I left it in New Zealand with family. I bought a second Urbano for back home, and this current purchase, the Liberte for my wife. Both the Urbano and Liberte are of high quality, and amazingly wonderful bikes to ride considering the smaller wheels. They ride just as nice as my Surly Long Haul Trucker that costs 5 times more and doesn't fold up!
The Liberte is very similar to the Urbano, with a few upgraded items (Quick release hubs, upgraded bottom bracket, a little lighter in weight)... the wife likes the Liberte, I think I still like the Urbano myself. But it doesn't matter, you can't go wrong with these rugged little bikes!
I should add I've accumulated almost 1,000 miles riding on these bikes with no issues, not even a flat tire!
Leopold G.
Your products are great.

I have been looking at folding bikes for a while, taking my time in trying to find one that suited me. My last bike got stolen because I didn't have space inside my apartment to keep it, so I wanted my next bike to fold so I could put it away with some ease. I finally chose the Liberte and I'm so glad I did. It's been great so far with every ride. I'm planning to get the indoor trainer so I can bike even when the weather is bad. Thank you for making a great product!

I LOVE THIS BIKE!
Honestly can't say enough about it. I live four floors up and needed a bike that was light but durable. Coming from a Jamis, I was hopeful but I enjoy this more than the 10 speed.
For starters, it's extremely well made. Genius on how it's constructed. It arrived ready to go - once I got used to the opening / closing, it's a breeze. The videos are helpful and the set up guides informative.
The ride itself is amazing - gears and breaks are responsive and easy to access. I slow down over bumps but road ride and light trails are fine (I just go slower).
Best parts though - I can ride with everyday clothing or cycle clothes; it's comfortable and I love the portability - it fits IN my car and not on a rack so it can go anywhere which opens up worlds. I've been riding every day since I received it.
Everything you've read or seen on line is true. I can't recommend it enough.
Other items I have: Cover for winter; lock (haven't used); water bottle/water rack. All are exceptional.
Arleny A.
Road our bikes on a 17.85 mile asphalt trail with no problem. And it’s so late that lifting bike due to tree being down on the road was a breeze.
Sai Yu Y.
The bike arrived on time, and took only a minute to set up. The bike's weight was a bit lighter than I expected, which is good!
I would recommend this model to family and friends looking to buy a foldable bike.
Arleny A.
Great folding bike! Hubs loves it so that we are ordering another for him. The bike seat is def not comfy but ordered a new one and now riding for longer periods doesn’t kill the buns.
robert a.
Ist ride today. Weather has not cooperated. Have to say 4th gear is my favorite. Need to get accustomed to gears on uphill climb. Definately help in getting in shape. The headlight mount seems to slide alot. Will probably change out seat to a gel larger seat for comfort. Overall very nice bike!
Frank D.
This is exactly the type of bike I’ve been looking for!
victor m.
The bike was ready to ride right out of the box.
Alan V.
The ZIZZO Liberte' model appears to be a very good value. Very similar to another major brand's model targeted at boaters but sold for much less. Quality of the frame and hardware are quite good and the setup was spot on for the shifting. Added a rack and accessories to make this a very transportable utility bike when my full size road bike would be less desirable for the moment.
Carlos C.
The bike is great and sleek. I wish it was a little lighter but i can still manage carry it up my 5th floor walkup with one arm. The saddle on other hand is not that comfortable could use some adjustments.
Kortny C.
Very convenient, light weight, and durable.
Thomas K.
It was so easy to put together. All you need to do is watch one of the videos on YouTube. Unpacking and minimal assembly took 15 minutes. I put air in the tires and was off. A great smooth ride. Despite the size of the tires, it has a comparable ride to any standard bike. I'm probably going to purchase another one for my wife.
Allen L.
Received bike in perfect condition as it was packaged very well. This is my first folding bike and I was surprised how enjoyable it was to ride. Will be nice to transport in my car with no bike rack needed and only weighting 23 lbs. Highly recommended folding bike.
Richard M.
Great bike. Plan to use for travel and camping.
Peter S.
I'm very happy with the libertE. It's quite light which I wanted. 3lbs lighter than my Brompton. Quality seems good. Great components.
The bike arrived fully assembled and pumped tires. Rolls well and folds small for a non Brompton.
Getting to fold all the way is tricky but what you going to do.
Thanks. Just change the name. how about Rapid or Sprint bikes. Zizzo sounds a bit like washed up tv clown from the 80s.
Madelyn R.
My road bike was stolen, so I was worried about loosing speed when purchasing this type of bike. But I was pleasantly surprised by its ability to gain speed as I adjust the gears - it rides no different. I don’t even need gears where I live, but now I wouldn’t even consider not having them. I like the simplicity of the design and especially its durability.
Clayton K.
Really enjoying this bike! What a treat to ride.
Christian H.
I checked with the Delta agents at the counter, showed them a picture of the bike in a travel bag. Although they were very nice, they kinda laughed when I asked if I would be able to Gate Check that. However, packed in a suitcase it would be only $35.00 . Now I didn’t really have suite case measurements.
Anders H.
I love this bike! Easy to ride, easy to pack and store, and very light.
It takes a few rides to get acquainted with the small wheels but after that its a breeze. For any bike rides less than 1h the small size is not a problem at all. In the city, the small size is actually preferable as its easier to move around curbs, stairs, between cars etc..
Great product, highly recommended if you don't have space for a full size bike.
Peter H.
Great bike. Super fast to fold and adjust. Works as advertised and really happy with it. I’m not sure what features or benefits I could get by spending more money on other brands. I ride in nyc and in and out of subways and trains and this thing is a beast!
Margarita H.
I love my new bike and so impressed with the construction and the packaging of the product.
Anne C.
I am happy with my Liberte!
Darrell K.
The Liberte´is a fantastic bicycle. The ride compares very favorably to my titanium road bike. I keep this bike at a second home where storage space is limited. The ability to ride daily and then tuck the Liberte´away in a closet is perfect. Special thanks to Ben at Zizzo, who provided tremendous support to correct a shipping error. Ben and his team worked through the weekend to solve the issue and get my bike back on track for delivery. Great bicycle, great customer service.
Steven S.
I want instead, please, to be able to tell you either: like it very much, select like it AND love it! Definitely very happy with it and enjoying it.... important issue imho is getting a better seat-post-to-handlebar distance (significant bike and rider dimension), as well as that angle, as well as still being able to fold it as original...
I would be glad to review later, too! Thank you!
RogerJones J.
Robust high quality construction. The eight gears nicely assist ascending the ~700 vertical feet from downtown. It arrived very well packed.
Hal S.
We've had these bikes for a year. Great around town. We've taken them on several trips including a 2 month car trip through the southwest. They were perfect. easy to stow, easy to set up. Rode them up to 40 miles in a day.
Michael N.
Up sides:
- I love how small it folds and the overall weight.
- The folding components are very solid--no damage or fear of breaking whenever I fold and unfold.
Down sides:
- The stock seat is insanely uncomfortable--the upgraded seat is a must-have. (My tailbone is still sore from my first ride a week ago)
- The gear setup is not right out of the box. Both bikes I purchased do not change gears properly. One was one gear off (shifter shows 1, it's actually in 2. I discovered this when shifting to 8th gear and the chain completely came off). More attention to setup before shipping would be greatly appreciated.

This is my 3rd folding bike. I have a:
Xidesheng - China's best folding bike from 2008 16" wheel
Dahon 7 speed from 2012 or so 20" wheel
I'm enjoying the Liberte. It does seem marginally lighter @ 23 lbs vs. the other two bikes. With it's thin tires and solid construction and rigidity when unfolded it does the trick.
I've already saved money on parking by using it after parking my car in a residential area and then biking in to an event. I avoided at least $10 parking. If I keep it up, which I will, the bike will pay for itself in avoided parking fees.
I look forward to the fenders being back in stock so that the bike is fully outfitted and I wouldn't get dirty or wet driving through water puddles or in the rain. I understand the FREE Shipping will still stand for accessories.

Great lightweight folding bike. Really happy with the purchase. The only concern is how to get parts in the future.
