Operational Precautions:

Follow these riding guidelines to help ensure safe operation of your ZiZZO bike and to prevent avoidable damage to the drivetrain, frame, and folding components during normal use.

Helmet Use
Always wear a properly fitted bicycle helmet when riding.

Weight Limits
Maximum loaded weight (rider + cargo):
• 240 lbs — Ferro, Campo, Via, Urbano, Liberte, Marino
• 300 lbs — Forte

Pedaling
After shifting gears, avoid pedaling backward as this can cause the chain to derail or jam.

Proper foot placement: Always ride with the ball of your foot on the main body of the pedal. Do not ride with your foot solely on the outside or folding portion of the pedal.

Riding Terrain
Avoid jumps, curbs, or stunt riding. These impacts can damage the folding frame and void the warranty.

Stem Height
Never raise the handlebar stem past the “Minimum Insertion” line.

Saddle Height
Never RAISE the seatpost past the MIN insertion line.
Never LOWER the seatpost past the Max Insertion line.

Environmental & Storage Precautions

Wet Conditions
Avoid riding in heavy rain when possible. If the bike becomes wet, dry it promptly and check the folding locks to help prevent rust.

Summer Heat
Do not leave an inflated bike in a hot car. Heat can increase tire pressure and potentially cause a tire blowout.

Corrosive Environments
After riding near the ocean and/or snow, rinse the bike with low-pressure water and re-lubricate the chain. Salt and sand can cause rapid corrosion.

Maintenance
Perform a basic tune-up at least once per year and keep the chain clean and lubricated to prevent premature drivetrain wear.
