Ferro (REFURBISHED & CERTIFIED)

I have the old ferro and got this new version for my son. It's a great bike, much better than the original.

Loving the Zizzo Ferro, it's a great bike! Fits perfectly in my trunk, feels sturdy, and rides smooth. I've not had it long, but I can tell you I'll be putting a lot of time in on this bike. Though I recommend you get some folding pedals or quick release pedals and the magnet catch (though check compatibility). The pedals get in the way of folding easily (not impossible just a tad bit annoying), and without the magnet, it can be cumbersome to handle in the folded state. When it shipped, it arrived with a bent frame lock latch. Zizzo helped me out quickly by sending me replacement parts. They did not accuse me of having been at fault. They even offered to make me a custom video on how to install the replacement parts, but that ended up not being necessary. The customer support is top notch! Even for a refurbished bike! Highly recommend! I will be getting another Zizzo in due time.

This bike is great! It’s solid and so much fun to ride! It’s also beautiful! I look forward to riding it every morning before work!

The box is well packed. I was able to follow the instruction from the YouTube videos to learn how to fold and unfold the bike. The bike fits nicely into my 2015 Subaru WRX trunk. I purchased a refurbished bike and it just works. No problem whatsoever.

I would consider myself Ikea level 2, in terms of ability to assemble furniture. The YouTube video for the bike I ordered is truncated. The video jumps to unfolded without going through the steps in great detail. The knob that keeps the unfolded bike in place would not go "down" the right way. After an hour of sweating, I realized I had to loosen that knob. I felt I have loosened it too much to get it to work. In any event I took the bike to a local bike shop to confirm the knob couldn't be made any tighter (and they did). Neither my local bike tech, or me, could determine how to fold up the pedal to fold the bike as it is folded in the video. So it folds to about 3/4 as tight as how the video would have it. I believe I can get the bike to fold to fit into a large Ikea bag, which was my initial goal since I would have it at my feet when I board a local ferry to Manhattan from Brooklyn. The bike itself rides really nicely and is certainly lightweight when compared to the bulky Citibike I had been using for the last three years, it actually gets some getting used to because the stance is quite different and it is so light.

The overall quality of the bike seems strong and durable and the tires are perfect for NYC. I had to make a warranty claim because of a damaged bottom bracket during shipping and received excellent customer service from everyone who helped me. Thank you so much Zizzo, this was a great purchase!

I really do like this design and color scheme, red and orange would be cool too. This is the first time I bought a bike of this kind and at this point in my life I will more than likely stay within this concept. Or perhaps I may be forced into a golf cart or electric scooter, but not yet.

I love using the bike to get to work. It’s fun and easy to fold and fits perfectly in my trunk and folds neatly to keep on my desk. Only issue I had so far was both my wheels popped at the same time but i was able to patch it up myself and my rear brake seems to be sliding and disengages when I press on it too hard. Only started having that issue after I placed the tire back after patching it up.

Bought the Refurbished Ferro. Hence, i did not expect it to be in brand new condition. However, according to your website, all refurbished products undergo 19 point inspection by your mechanic. So i expected the bike to be functional and free of defect. Unfortunately, your mechanic missed the defective front brake and the flat tire. Kudos to your customer service for sending the parts though i had to do a little bit of labor. Taking the bike to a shop is more hassle for me. All in all, not too bad. The wife likes the bike. That’s what’s important.

I really like it. I still need a couple adjustments but I am riding again years off the bike!
