Great idea and upgrade. But…. along with the comfort saddle, the bracket that holds the pedals under the seat barely fits… had to monkey around with ,and add two small pieces of spacer foam to get it to mount correctly and still have room for the pedals.. maybe this isn't necessarily made to fit under the comfort saddle???

These pedals are awesome.! I like the low profile, they give additional "throw" on the down pedal. Folding bikes are a little cramped for leg extension, even for a fairly short guy like me. These pedals give extra and noticeable length to the bottom of the cycle stroke making for a more comfortable ride. Not to mention the good grip they have on your shoe, no slipping off the pedal. I like that a person can remove the pedals and take them with when locking the bike up and leaving it somewhere. I've had more than one bike stolen. Hard to ride away on a bike with no pedals. Well worth the price.

I'm adding another star to my review of the pedals. The little yellow safety tab has loosened up enough so I can now easily pull it off and on. Love the pedals!

As a big person much easier to handle than the folding pedals. No more pinched fingers. also fit the size 14's better.

Love the pedals and how easy they are to snap on. That's the idea of course, but the little yellow piece slows everything down trying to get them off. I think the piece, which is very important to secure the pedals, should be redesigned with a longer handle to grasp off more quickly and easily.

Vastly superior to the bundled folding pedals. Better quality in every way. I installed the holder on the rear rack stays that connect to the seat post tube, because I use the space under my saddle for other things.

Although I liked the folding pedals that came stock with my Zizzo Forte. These new removable pedals are great! They're super quick and easy to remove for bike portability and the small storage clip that holds the pedals when not in use is so out of the way good. I think the thing I like most of all, is the super slim design that the pedals provide and the grip. Man, if my feet ever slipped off the pedals before, they do not now thanks to those traction "nobules" these new pedals have on them. I am very pleased with the quality of the bike pedals. I ride my Zizzo all the time and am loving it.

Great addition to bike no slippage when riding

i like the pedals. better grip and handier

I replaced my still functioning folding pedals for the quick release models. They work fine. I'm currently using them on my Forte.

I ordered these with my bike after reading other reviews about them. They were easy to install and the quick release function works really well, they come off in a second. They are comfortable and the grip is good, my feet did not slide at all.
Darlene
Fits well on the bike and very easy to install and the quick release works well. Good traction on the pedals.

10 mm thinner than the stock folding pedals. give 5mm more leg extension.

Great pedal with plenty of grip !

OEM folding pedals on our Zizzo Liberte bike began sticking after 2 years of significant use. Decided to upgrade to the removable pedals. They feel solidly built and appear to be very high quality. They attach securely and they rotate smoothly. Thanks for the smooth ride.

So easy to get on and off, perfect grip. I love these pedals.

Gotta say that I love my new quick release pedals! A smooth and well-built metal construction, and the under-seat mount is an awesome bonus! I thinking I should have swapped the stock plastic ones when I purchased the bike (they're collapsible and fold down easily, once you get used the hand maneuvering...) but the quick release set much better -- Highly recommended!

Much better than the original plastic pedals that came with the bike. Just a couple years later after I bought the bike, one of the pedals cracked and broke off while I was riding. I am confident the new pedals will last much longer. Thank you.

I think the bearings on the original set of pedals are wearing out, so I bought this set to replace them. I also will strongly consider using them on my Trek Madone 4500 when I tour Spain, France and Portugal this summer for 5 weeks, that way I don't have to carry an extra set of shoes, ie I won't take cycling shoes, I use running shoes which I can also use for walking around etc. This saves weight and space which is extremely limited on the bike tour.

good anti~thieft bike pedal. now all I need is a bike to put them on... it was stolen.
Sadiq B.
The pedals are stronger for riding longer distances and are easily installable and removable.

I really like the detachable pedals. One of them does stick a bit but I asked the support team and they said it should become easier over time. The quality is very good.

These pedals are a must have! I love how they connect and disconnect with a simple pull of the tab to be stowed away (preferably in an FDP bag atop the rack).
One could argue that it would make the bicycle less appealing to thieves as it would be very hard to flee without pedals to propel!
It makes it the bicycle that much more compact when folding and it just screams quality as opposed to the standard plastic folding pedals.
While I’ve never used the factory installed pedals, I can only safely assume that these quick release pedals offer superior grip and a wider base to accommodate those with bigger feet.
These could very well be the first and last pedals I’ll ever have to buy for my ZIZZO FORTE. I’m very impressed!!

Lightweight pedals and convenient to stowaway when packing the bike for a trip in the trunk of the car. 60 grams lighter than the stock pedals for Liberte from 2020 (with plastic pedal surface). These are also about 1/3" narrower than the stock ones, but works for me. Looks very well-built!

While I didn’t dislike the stock pedals, I chose to upgrade to the detachable pedals for better grip and for higher security/better theft deterrence. These pedals fit nicely in a backpack or the FDP bag (pictured). It takes a little practice to attach and detach easily. I really like how they attach with an audible “click” to let you know they’re seated properly. I would definitely recommend these pedals.
MARTIN S.
They are bicycle pedals, they pedal the bike as they should.

When I bought my first ZIZZO bike I didn’t like the plastic petals. They didn't have enough grip. Especially when I got caught in the rain. My foot kept slipping and it was a little harder to go up hills. So,
the second day I had bought the metal panels and let me tell you that was the best decision I’ve made. I have a better grip specially when it rains I don’t slip on the petals anymore. It was really easy to install and they’re really easy to remove as well.
Victoria V.
The pedals are easy to install and remove. The only problem is they are too small for my feet. I wear a size 10 shoe. My foot slips off the end of the pedal. It is not wide enough for my foot. I think they are better for women that have smaller feet. That's my opinion.
Bryan F.
Good quality for the lesser price!
Cisco A.
Fits my needs perfect.

Clever approach to security of the Zizzo liberte!

Excellent accessory. The bike goes in the bed of the pickup; the pedals go in the cab. Great security.
