Looks great and handles mostly great. The bike folds and unfolds easily, the build quality is mostly sturdy but has a few issues. The handlebar latch does not close firmly, and leaning on the handlebars may cause the rod to rotate, which can be dangerous in certain situations. Within a few days of riding the rear tire popped a flat, upon investigation it was discovered the cause was the inner tape being improperly applied, rupturing the tire. A re-application of the inner tape fixed the issue. Despite these issues, the bike is still serviceable, very lightweight and portable as advertised, and I will continue to use it.

I bought the Via in 2022 and put well over 2000 miles on it before it got stolen. When it came time to buy another bike I went with a Via again because I loved it so much. It’s a great all around bike for the city and long distance biking.

I bought a Blue Via for my wife's birthday in Nov, 2023. In May, 2024, I bought an orange one for myself (both purchases from Amazon). We have mountain bikes that we just don't ride anymore. But these and their foldability have really changed things for us. The most difficult thing about assembly is getting it unpacked. They are packed pretty well and neither had a single scratch. Just watch the videos and you're good to go. The only thing I had to do was a quick derailleur adjustment to smooth out the shifts. That takes 30 seconds and you can watch a quick YouTube video to explain that. You don't even need tools for most adjustments. I changed both seats to more comfy seats and I have now added the Zizzo racks to the rear (also highly recommended and super easy to install). I have now ordered the Lock Grips just for additional comfort. This is now my go to bike and I have a pretty expensive Cannondale that now just hangs from it's rack in our garage. We'll be taking these from Atlanta up to Mackinac Island in August.

I absolutely love this bike, it’s perfect for me, folds up easily so that I don’t have to Lock it up When I go into a store, I can just bring it in with me. Not to mention it’s my most favorite color!!!!

I purchased this bike for my wife. After spending hours researching folding bikes at different sites, I found the Zizzo to offer all the amenities of a more expensive brand , but at a more affordable price. It is well made, nicely painted, light weight and easy to unfold and start riding. For as much as my wife rides, and the need for a packable, I found the Zizzo wise choice for us.

I purchased the Via model and absolutely love it. I didn't have any problems unboxing the bike and putting it together. My first ride down my neighborhood street convinced me I made the right decision to go with the Zizzo bike. It rides like the 26" bike I had been riding for years. It's fast and easy to ride. My husband also took it for a spin and decided to get one for himself. Last weekend we took both Via's to a park. After folding up the bikes they fit perfectly in my hatchback. These are great bikes and I highly recommend them.

Great website, easy to use. I am loving my Zizzo Via. I commute to Manhattan by bus and ride my bike to my job, about a mile ride. All good, highly recommend. My only issue is that the bike was made in China. I would have paid more to purchase a folding bike made in the US.

Nice bike, easy to ride, not too heavy. wish it comes with a bell and the tire is a little thicker because I got flat tire less than 1 month riding the bike.

To be honest was not looking to purchase a new bike. The previous purchase was for a Mongoose and loved that bicycle. Due to circumstances, the bicycle got rusted and never felt secure riding it. The Zizzo bike is lovely, HOWEVER, am a bit concerened about how to pay for it. It was purchased on credit card and am a bit insecure since haven't been able to pay for it yet! Please do not feel in anyway that this is your concern. Have not discussed it with family and don't want to use it yet since don't know how to pay for it. Please let this writer just express concern, no burden to Zizzo. With all that said, would love to keep bike and use it. Sincerely, Elaine

Convenience of being able quickly fold and take your bike anywhere is wonderful. Opens up so many possibilities-- for commuting, biking trails without a large bike rack on car, etc. Feels very sturdy and safe. Setup was easy with provided videos. Overall rides great--only issues I've had are with some delayed/ occasional bumpy gear shifting with included drivetrain.

This review is only based on our unboxing and looking at the bike experience. The weather has been in the single digits here and it’s busy Christmas time. So we’ve ridden it around the first floor of our home in order to set the seat and handlebar, and that’s it so far. But what we have observed is fantastic!

The bike came fully assembled, beautiful color and comfortable to ride. Zizzo has the best customer service I have ever experienced, there is always someone to answer the call if you have any questions, which Is very helpful.

Just getting used to it. Different from other bikes I owned. May need adjustment. Clicking when peddling hard. Nothing is flat in Colorado. LOL

Ready to ride!

Exactly what I was hoping for! High quality at a great price.

Haven’t had a chance to ride it yet, but unpacking and setting it up you can tell it is quality and sturdy. For the price, I wasn’t expecting that degree of quality; was a pleasant surprise.

I purchased the Via so I could have a bike while out on work travel trips and vacation. Setup and takedown are incredibly simple and the weight is very manageable when carrying it folded. I am 6' 2", 160 lbs. and get a very comfortable ride from the bike while on the road. I have added a gel seat cushion because I deal with sciatica, but the seat that came on the bike was surprisingly comfortable on its own. With one week of riding I can say I'm very pleased with the Via, especially for the price.

Too cold yet for anything but a test ride but it’s just what we need. Ordered my husband’s Forte the same day we unpacked my Via. Plan to use mostly for traveling as we have other bikes. Thank you!!

Easy to assemble out of the box. I relied on the website videos before unboxing, assembly, unfolding, doing the safety check and folding the bike - excellent. I also needed to do brake adjustments and found the video very helpful in that regard. I've been riding the bike for a few days and am quite impressed with its handling and shifting. Whenever someone sees the bike, they too want to give it a try. Nice product and the versatility of the seat and handlebars is a huge plus. So far, so good. Thanks for posting videos that help with maintenance and repair tasks. I still like my full-size bike best, but this is a great alternative for those adventures where a bike folded into the boot of the car is a necessity.

I can easily pick it up. I learned how to fold/unfold it easily by viewing the videos and practicing a few time. So glad I purchased this beauty.

The bike is fun to ride, comfortable and easy to setup! Feels heavy built and color choice looks better in person. Customer service from Zizzo was great. Between the first person that responded and the tech team, they were fast and informative. Provided detail measurements to a screw I needed.

It really fits easily in the trunk of my car.....so easy to transport!

The bike was easy to assemble and worked perfectly right out of the box. I had concerns from reviews stating the bike would need to be taken to a bicycle shop for final adjustments but did not have any problems, everything was adjusted correctly and ready to ride. I bought 2 of these bikes.

Great shipping time, super light frame. Seems well-built, but I’ve only had it two weeks.

Being an older voluptuous lady I appreciate the sturdy quality of my new Zizzo. It delivers a comfortable ride and the convenience of folding the bike is fantastic.

Really enjoy my orange zizzo. I need it to get more movement in my knees and I can adjust the saddle to the right setting. I am at 7.5 now and hope to get to 9. Also hope to throw it in the car and take it with me to bike Yosemite valley or along the beach. Just a fun bike and enjoy it.

Perfect for hopping to work and back, folds up by my desk at work and into a front closet at home, allows me to avoid dealing with an overcrowded apartment building bike storage or locking up outside to rust. Feels great/sturdy even for me at 6'-1/210lbs. Make sure to get the tire air pressure dialed in for these smaller tires, worth a good gauge there. Huge fan, likely will get one for my wife soon!

This is the 2nd Zizzo Via I've purchased. I enjoyed the 1st bike so much , I decided my partner should have the same and of course, they are folding bikes so perfect for throwing in the trunk and driving to the beach or certain trail just too far to ride. This 2nd Via was perfect with no issues or needs for adjusting, unlike the first which did cost me some for adjusting brakes and gearing. They are both easy to setup or fold and the ride is smooth. Great for dirt or road trails. And they are nice looking bikes too. I am very happy with my purchase.

Works great looks beautiful

We bought this one for my wife. She likes it quite a bit. Seems like really good quality and rides well. Brakes required minor adjustment but shifter was right on. Unpacking the bike went smoothly except the plastic film that is on the bumpers. Awkward to remove around the mounting screws of the bumper. But that was the only hiccup so to speak.

This is my second Zizzo purchase, love the bikes! Only hitch was the shipping by FedEx was delayed nearly 1 week extra. My first order arrived a day early, go figure. My friend who rides the second bike loves it.

This bike is perfect for someone like me. It is convenient to fold up and put in the trunk of my car and take it anywhere. It is well built and comfortable and I enjoy riding it. Love the color as I am a North Carolina Tarheel fan.

I love my orange Via! The color is gorgeous and the quality of the bike is incredible. I’m 4’11” and it fits me perfectly. Easy for me to carry! I purchased the rear rack and installed it in less than 10 minutes. Very happy that we bought Zizzo bikes!

Bought 2 bike for me and the wife.... threw them in the trunk (of a small car) for vacation. We love that we can take them anywhere... on the beach, to the lake, around the city. We got a lot of compliments... the best one was "Can we trade bikes?" we are very happy with our purchase.

Had been thinking of trying a folding bike for a long time but put off by the prices. I haven’t been a rider for many years and wouldn’t sink so much$ into something I didn’t know if I would love. So the price and the 30 days return helped!! I really like how it looks. I will probably get other handlebars at some point to have even less lean (there isn’t much - I like a very upright ride) but out of the box rideable! My partner is all into it and may buy one as well. Now I just have to get in biking shape to know what I think for longer trips! Thanks

I am very satisfied with my Zizzio bike purchase so far. I wanted a bike that I could take to the roads and also parks/lite trails. It is perfect for my small apartment space, folds easily, and is super light in weight. I do wish there were a few more gears on the bike as sometimes I feel like there is not enough resistance even on the highest setting . Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and have already recommended to friends!

It's a nice bike but honestly I feel it's not worth the price. I feel it's a little bit over priced. For that price backrack and derailure guards should come standard and not cost extra. It's very light in weight especially going up and down the stairs with it and fenders should be metal not cheap plastic. Not saying this to criticize the bike but maybe change the overall outlook of zizzo bikes in the future so as of right now I give it a 3.5 out of a 5 price you pay for it you should get more.

This is the second Zizzo I've bought. The first one still works very well. Very sturdy, good brakes. Very fast on the open road - if you're good at biking, you can maintain 18 to 20 MPH, much to the disappointment of guys on their expensive road bikes, trying to slowly pass you. The metallic orange not only looks great, but makes it quite visible at night (especially useful in the city). Folds down in less than a minute, and fits in the trunk of an Infiniti G37 coupe (which you can't even fit a normal size box into). The seat on the new model is even better than the old one, and makes it comfortable for 10+ mile rides (the longest I've done using it is 17 one way, some paved, some dirt), as well as provides better stability for tight turns. My wife, who uses this bike and has balance issues on a larger bike, started riding again after I got the first one. Well done Zizzo. and at that price? Amazing.

While I've not practiced folding and unfolding all that much yet, I love this little machine. It carries me along the streets and on the forest roads. Plus, the sky-blue Via is soooo dang pretty!

Bike feels very sturdy. Very little adjustment is needed when setting up the bike. Nothing feels cheap on the bike and it works perfectly almost the very first time you try it.

This is our second Zizzo. After researching folders, I chose a Forte a couple of months ago because i wanted a really sturdy one. The Forte delivers! I liked the Forte so much, i bought a Via for my wife. We took our first ride yesterday and rediscovered the joy of bike riding. These are solid feeling bikes that ride well and are a great value. Having a couple of folding bikes that easily fit into the car makes exploring our local parks together much more fun. Thanks Zizzo!

I absolutely love this bike. I normally like to see a product and if possible try it out before I purchase it. I was looking for a foldable bike to take camping with us. My cruiser bike basically took up the whole truck bed when we would travel. I now have a lightweight bike that I can load into the truck by myself and could even put it inside our camper to haul it. I found your website and liked the look of the bicycle so I read the reviews and saw that people were pleased with it. I ordered the orange bike because it would be more visible while riding. The metal flake paint color is beautiful. It arrived quickly and the packaging was great. I took the time to watch the video you have on unpacking the bike which was very helpful. The bike rides so smooth and quiet. I have ridden on paved trails and dirt trails through the forest. The bike is awesome! I also purchased the carrying bag and cell phone holder which are great products as well. I will definitely recommend your company and products to anyone looking for a folding bicycle. Great bike for LA life

This is the first bike I have purchased in 38 years. The last one had a baby seat on it! The bike arrived the day after my 3 1/2 year old grandson learned to pedal his new bike so now I can keep up with him without having to run. When he get better at directions we will be able to go to the bike path together.

Wow!!! This is a beautiful bike! I got it since I have a tiny apartment and I road trip a lot. It folds up smaller than my plant and is easy to carry up my stairs :). Right out of the box this bike rides amazingly well.

This bike is great. It came packed extremely well and almost completely assembled. The fit and finish are very good especially for a bike in this price range. Rides very well and tires are nice and grippy even on some ice patches. Can't go wrong with this purchase.

I bought this bike for my 8 yr old son. He loves it. I do have to suggest one thing-the pole attached to bike seat is really long & needs 2 1/2 to 3 inches sawed off. He's 52 inches tall & the pole attached to seat almost reaches pavement when inserted. I’m worried it will catch on something. I will take picture of this for you. (Just a safety concern) I have the baby blue zizzo.

Overall I like the bike so far and I'm glad I purchased it. I ordered the orange version of the Via model in part because it was on sale, and I am not sorry I purchased that color. I love the beautiful metallic orange paint which really jumps out and gets your attention, and makes you more visible in traffic. For the money, it is a solid bike with decent construction and good components. It was assembled correctly before it was sent which is a nice bonus. From what I read of other equivalently priced folding bicycles from other brands, their bicycles arrive needing a lot of work and are oftentimes so poorly assembled that they have been damaged during assembly. I have been into riding bicycles since the early 80's, but this is the first folding bike I have ridden, so I have nothing to compare it to, and I have only ridden it about three times varying from about 10 to 15 miles. It has been my experience so far that the shifting is solid and reliable. The stem is long and has a folding joint in it so it flexes a little as I ride while standing as does the frame, but I understand such flexibility is common even among the best folding bicycles. The tires roll nicely over a mix of pavement and hard packed dirt walking paths, but I will probably convert to a mostly slick design like Schwalbe Big Apples when I wear these out as I find tires with side knobs are not really advantageous. The gear range is okay, but I will swap out the cassette for one with a larger cog, so I can have a lower lowest gear for riding up steep hills. The plastic pedals that come with it fold nicely, but I weight about 200 pounds and they flex when I stand and pedal which is unnerving, so I have purchased some quick release MKS pedals to replace them with as they won't flex under my weight. Zizzo sells some quick release pedals made by Wellgo which I thought about purchasing as I have had good experience with Wellgo pedals, but quick release MKS pedals have a better reputation, and I have had excellent experience with MKS pedals in the past. This is a personal preference as everyone is built differently, but the saddle is too wide for me and interferes with my legs as I pedal thus reducing efficiency and making it difficult to find my correct seat height. The bicycle easily folds into a nice compact form and the magnet holds everything together nicely once folded which will make it easy to transport in the back seat of my car which is why I bought it. Finally, I wonder how practical it would be for Zizzo to offer bicycles with at least some configuration options. I know these are value priced bicycles where economy of scale, among other factors, is what makes them affordable, but I wonder how much extra it would cost to get one configured according to at least some customer preferences. Saddles and pedals in particular are very personal to regular riders and it would be nice to have more than one saddle or pedal option when purchasing one of these bicycles. Another reason to offer configuration options is that there is less waste as people like me will not have an extra unused saddle, pedals and cassette lying around unused and collecting dust.

I have long legs and a short torso - so I can't stretch my legs out as far as I would like without putting the seat up too high - but it's an amazing product and excellent value. Wish it came in green.

Very good packing inside the box. Only took a few minutes to figure out how to assemble before riding. Takes a little getting used to because of the wheel size. Very quick steering and easy to adjust to my body. Better than I expected. I ordered one for my wife too. Now we can take our bikes when camping and keep them folded inside our van instead of hanging them outside in back on a carrier.

Love the bike. However, the bike creaks when pedaling uphill. Since I am in Canada, there is absolute no warranty. I'll eventually bring this to a bike shop and pay myself to have this fixed.

We love Zizzo folding bikes, especially the Via models. We own two older (2+ yrs) generation models of the Via and were quite surprised to see the new Via's have gone through some changes. First off, we love that the new Via models have the trigger release on the pedals to fold them up, rather than pulling the entire pedal out then flipping it up or down, now its much easier to press the trigger and flip the pedal. The stem lock went through a change, now it has a release button which in theory makes sense but it doesn't look so sturdy and I'm worried that this may break at some point as it's not very sturdy looking and doesn't have that hefty "click" sound or feel when you engage it. The seat also looks like its a little wider and better padded than the previous ones that came with our Vias. I can't comment on the ride quality yet as the bike came out of the box with the rear fender cracked in half. Zizzo customer service was easy to get hold of and quick to respond to my requests and comments. However, it appears it's going to take quite some time before the replacement fender will arrive to me, according to the tracking. A bit bummed as it was planned to be an early Christmas present for our son and hopes to be able to ride it before the weather gets bad.

I love this bike! I wanted to get a foldable bike so I could put it in my car trunk (to go for bike rides around the city) and so I could easily store it in my apartment (since I have a studio apartment). I also wanted a bike that I could easily fold and unfold. The Zizzo Via is exactly what I was looking for! The bike (when folded) easily fits in the trunk of my Toyota Corolla. I also love that it doesn’t take up much room in my studio apartment when it is folded up. The bike is super easy to fold and unfold! It takes like 10 seconds to unfold it and maybe 30 seconds to fold it. The bike rides super smooth and switches speeds easily. The bike seems super sturdy and I feel like the bike will hold up for a long time. I am very happy with my purchase of the Via and I recommend it to anyone looking for a foldable bike!

A bike is the sum of its parts. For the most part the Via hits the mark. The bike is excellent but they cheaped out on the Kenda tires. I have patched mine three times since I bought it last September. I take it around the neighborhood in paved roads and never in gravel or off road. You can’t ride a bike when its flat, like what it is right now.

After reading about all the cheaper ones and their bad reviews, I youtubed the Via model and found a couple that demonstrated it at a Florida state park. They sold me. The box it comes in well protected it, the instruction were fine, all the speed things were well tightened. All I had to do was unfold and ride. OF COURSE, I ordered some old person seats long before it arrived. (The reason everyone rides 5 speed bikes so fast is BECAUSE YOU CANNOT SIT DOWN. haahaa) Then I added an Alaskan Leathers Sheep Pad for comfort. I wanted something for truck cap camping. These are perfect. I will also order the rear fenders when they come in. I added an Alaska Relevant Feed Bag for drinking. Have ridden mine about 6 times and 3/4 miles...no problems. Great Product. Oh, the rear axle takes a M10mm extended bolt if you put on training wheel. Most kits come with 9.5...just tap it with a 10mm x 1 tap.

I've only been able to ride it once, but it was a smooth trip and the gears shifted easily. Hopefully I'll get better at going up hills after more rides!

My husband and I recently purchased two Via Zizzo Folding Bikes. We are seniors and got bored with walking. We absolutely love our new bikes!!! They were easy to unpack and set up. We have limited space in our condo garage but surprisingly enough when open they take up little room so we don't have to fold them up after each time we ride. We bought two ZiZZO VIAs, a black-red and sky-blue one (for my wife), and we love them. I called the company first to learn more about these fold-up bikes, and George was very helpful. The bikes were well packaged and easy to assemble. The company provides a wonderful YouTube on how to fold and unfold the VIA. I love riding my new VIA, and the 7 gears make it feel almost like a full-size bike. We really appreciate the new comfortable (wider) seats, the adjustable handlebar and the markings on both seat posts and handle bars. This makes it easy to maintain proper settings. I wish a carrying bag or some sort of shoulder strap would have been included, to make it easier to carry these bikes up and down stairways. We highly recommend the ZiZZO VIAs!

It’s been a while since I’ve ridden a bike but it was really easy to get back into biking riding the Via. It’s very smooth and comfortable and it’s great how you can fit multiple folding bikes into the car now without having to get a hitch and bike rack. Great customer service as well!
