best purchase i've made this year! ride is super smooth and find i find myself more active than ever. the seat was a touch uncomfortable at first, but i quickly got used to it.

Great bike! Very light! Because of its adjustability, it is also hands down the most comfortable bike I have owner, due to the fact that the handle bar height and seat are adjustable on the fly. I find that speed-wise I am just as fast as I was my hybrid bike (Trek FX3). I travel for work and I love that I can just throw it in my trunk without a rack and without having do drag it into the elevator to my hotel room. It came VERY well packaged and only needed air in the tires. Brakes and Derailleur were already perfectly adjusted. Customer service is outstanding! I have no regrets buying the bike and would definitely do it again!

There was no warrantee documents in the packaging.

I've had the bike for about a month and put about 150 miles on it. So far my experiences have been very positive. I had A minor squeak at the front end but a quick email to their tech people solved it in about two minutes of wrench time. I'm planning to write an in-depth review in about a month or so but so far I am very impressed at the performance of it.

I love this bike. It folds easily, brakes are great. One good thing is that you can pull it from the saddle and enter many types of shop, they treat like it is some kind of cart, never heard any complaints and this enables running errands like a breeze!

I really love this thing, however I'd be interested to know if the chain skipping every few meters on a bumpy road is normal or not. I don't have much experience with bicycle ownership so I wonder if that's something I should be worried about

Ordered a refurbished Liberte. Came with minor scuffs on paint but no dents. Everything works as it should. My only gripe is the vbrakes. They tend to rub on the wheels no matter how much I adjust them. If there was another suggestion for future iterations is to put a rubber stopper on the bottom of the seatpost so it wouldn't get scratched on concrete when the bike is folded and change out the brakes for calipers or disc. I am sure consumers are willing to pay for the price difference.

I got this folding bike almost a month ago to replace the e-scooter I got because it was way too heavy (30lbs) and awkwardly shaped to bring onto the bus. It is easy to fold (a little anxiety and getting used to it at first when having to fold it and the bus has just arrived, but now I am faster at it) and pretty compact and doesn't take up much room on a crowded bus if you stand with it towards the back doors. It's also light enough for me (106lbs) to carry. It's a little heavy and awkward when carrying it folded for a long period of time but a lot easier when it's unfolded, but still good overall. A great price point, a fun zippy ride, and a good weight. Perfect for "the last mile" on my commute and for cruising around town.

The bike sometimes makes strange sounds like creaking. The brakes also sometimes make sounds. Otherwise I love the bike, it works and has been serving me well. It is a little heavier than anticipated, but that's fine.

"Silver Bullet" . This bike is FAST!!! . Pros: Fill air in the tires at the recommended pressure, definitely rides like a road bike and is extremely fast that I did more breaking than I expected. Ride with care if sidewalk is "raggedy" but if the bike lane is smooth,than it's smooth sailing. Seat is comfortable and if you have ridden road bikes,you know to raise your tush if riding over a bump or an uneven pavement. . Cons: None But Ii would like to see "replacement brake pads" for purchase on Zizzo's parts section,because I will want order extra pads to keep on hand.

Nice bike for the dollars spent. As you can see in photo, did a few alterations, mainly seat and handlebars , just not a fan of flat bars, but for folding correctly they are necessary, however I just fold in half, lower the bars and seat and it fits nicely in the explorer. I just didn't want a rack, which would impede the rear cameras function , plus I feel the bike is safer from theft and as a plus, also out of the elements like this. Lightness was the biggest selling point for me and I'm not disappointed !

The saddle was so painful to use that I couldn’t even ride a few miles without great discomfort. I tried adding a gel overlay & bike shorts, but had to spend a further $50 on a completely new saddle. The seat on my Urbano, (which I decided to take to the U.K. as I’d read that bikes were unobtainable at the time I was returning to the U.K. in May 2020, which was early in the pandemic, so this replaced it), also had an uncomfortable saddle, but the addition of a ‘Bell’ overlay & without the addition of cycle shorts, resolved the problem, (I’m only talking about rides of 11 miles or less). I hope that you can look into resolving the saddle problem as I’ve seen in reviews others saying that they had just dumped the saddle. Disappointing when otherwise you have such great bikes. I realise there’s a budget to keep to, but I’m sure that as a company it wouldn’t add that much to the price. It’s great that even a lightweight 78 year old female can fold her bike down in minutes & lift it into the boot of her car. Previously on a regular weekly ride with friends, someone used to have to drive 5 miles in their truck to transport my bike as I found it even difficult to lift it onto a bike rack. I actually took my bike back to the U.K. in an ‘IT’ suitcase that I purchased from Walmart (I found it purely by chance, the alternatives I’d seen were price prohibitive), after 2 of my male friends watched your YouTube video I my living room, the suitcase on the dining room table. Watching the 2 of them work out what to do, certainly lifted my spirits as I was worried about my forthcoming flight at those uncertain times. I took photos of the bike in the case as I knew that my friends in the U.K. would find it hard to believe that I’d transported my bike that way. I have friends that have ridden fold up bikes for years & they have taken them around European cities. They just tied them onto one of the wheelie gadgets that we used to put suitcases on prior to cases having wheels. I wonder if the airlines charge less if bikes are transported that way. Unfortunately it cost an extra $280 on AA (including the suitcase, which I managed to find at Walmart), this cost would prevent me from taking it on a plane in the future. I had looked at buying the carry cases, but the suitcase seemed to offer much greater protection & it wasn’t going to be something that I would be doing on a regular basis, it arrived home in perfect condition. When I arrived home my son assembled it but couldn’t quite get the gears right, fortunately I’d anticipated he might have a problem, so had pre booked a slot at my local bike shop. It seems surreal now that at that time there was a 3 week wait to get an appointment, 2 days later I was biking. I love my bikes & my fellow male bikers can’t believe that those little wheels will keep up with them & often go faster. I would like to add that I had a problem folding my new bike just after delivery. I phoned & one of your colleagues was really helpful, he suggested I take a photo of the part & email it to him, he called me right back & explained what I needed to do. It’s so good to be able to speak to a real person when you have a problem. Now I’m home with all the hills etc maybe I should have a fold up battery assisted bike. The only problem I would have, I wouldn’t be able to lift it into my car! I hope some of this helps, I know it’s 6mths since I got my bike, but I don’t remember completing your survey before, still I wouldn’t have known about the saddle problem then.

Light bike, sturdy, good gearing range, surprisingly stable. Love it.

Because of the recent Bad weather I haven’t had much of a chance to ride it. But I took it out the other day for a long ride around the city and I absolutely love it ,very manoeuvrable and light and the gears shift nicely

If I lean forward into race mode and start pedaling hard I'm pretty sure i'll eventually snap the handlebar stem. The gearing is way too low for the flats, so I put a 60 tooth chain ring on which is perfect for gentle pedaling...

Haven't ridden a bike in over 40 yrs. We are Rvers and wanted a bike that folds. This bike folds small enough to fit in RV and was easy to ride

I’ve only tested it out for a few weeks but so far I love it. I love being able to fold it and put it in my car. It even fits in my suv without even folding! Excited to use it in Yosemite!

I absolutely LOVE my new bike!!! It’s very light, which is what I needed!! I’m still learning to fold/unfold it, but I’ve almost got it down!! It TRULY exceeded my expectations!!

I was expecting a lot of creaking noise given the price, but man was I wrong! This bike runs unexpectedly smooth!

After some adjustment to the brakes and rear axle the bike feels really good. The bike feel nimble when turning which I like. I have put 65 miles on it so far. This bike will be my go too ride. Thank you, Javier T.

Bought two of these and am very happy with them. They fit in our trunk for road trips or quick visits when we aren't' sure if we will have time for a ride. My only quibble is that they both have dramatic squeaks coming from somewhere between the headset and handlebars, that I have been unable to silence with grease.

Great components, light weight, gorgeous paint. However, wish handlebar stem lean more straight or more backwards close to the cockpit/cyclist. Also wish the handlebar stem folded in the opposite direction.

Love the zizzo I am a bike mechanic and thought I was going to have to change things right away but this bike is amazing. And I am very excited to make it electric.

I haven't had a bike in YEARS but learned about folding bikes which sounded fun. I received a Liberte for an early birthday/Christmas gift. I LOVE it. It is so light I can carry it no problem. I can put it in the car instead of our truck. My husband is a more serious cyclist and he has pointed out how great the quality is, especially for the price. We live in the mountains and have a hill on our driveway. After a couple of rides, I can now ride the hill. The low gear is going to be low enough for what I wish to do. I am turning 71 and the 20" tires suit me fine. I am intimidated by a full sized bike right now. I read that several Liberte owners changed out the seat. I have no problem with the seat. We did put some more aggressive tires on it since we live on a dirt/gravel road. I have small hands and had trouble reaching the right brake lever. Zizzo explained that this can be adjusted and what they said to do worked, along with positioning my hand differently. I have only positive things to say about this bike. It is just plain fun!

Awesome folding bike! Forget Brompton ( I was ready to plunk $1200 til I realized that is absurdly overpriced) and get Zizzo! Excellent quolity , great Shimano derailleur , super brakes, sturdy frame, sturdy tires good for gravel and road, excellent folding mechanics, no tune up need! ride it strait out of the box! I wish handlebar stem could extend up a bit more, I'm 6.2 so I'm slightly tilt forward when I ride it but it is not biggie! Thank you Zizzo Atanas G Santa Clara CA

I'm happy with this bike at its price point. It arrived ready to ride with no damage (refurb). My intention is to road-trip with this bike, and use it for 1-2 hour fitness rides. The gearing is a little on the slower side, but it's fine for most situations and I'll just coast at high speeds. I have made a few upgrades, but only one of them was necessary. The Zizzo seat is not ideal for more than a very short ride. I realize it's personal preference, but the included saddle is very much a cost saving measure. I upgraded the pedals, but the plastic ones would be fine for most people. I also added a detailer cage, and I do wish it was an included feature. Finally, I put bigger tires and thorn tubes on it to make it more like the Forte as I tend to ride a lot of gravel/dirt paths, but the included tires would work for the less aggressive rider. Overall, a fantastic purchase for the price, so much so that we are going to pick up another bike from Zizzo very soon.

I got this bike as an option to excersize my dog. I like having the ability to pack it up and take it to a trail.

I purchased a refurb/used Liberte. I wasn't sure how "used" it would be when it arrived. It seemed basically new. It has so far performed very well, and I may be buying another because it is such a great value bike.

Love my new Liberte! For anyone unsure about buying refurbished from Zizzo, have no fear. It was in amazing condition! I found two of the tiniest scuffs you'd practically need a magnifying glass to see them. The bike works better than every single one of my department store bikes I bought new. I do need the front brake caliper adjusted, but other than that, no issues! The bike is very lightweight, sturdy on the turns, significantly faster than my previous folding bike, the smoothest gear shifting I've ever had on any bike, and has lots of little innovations that make folding and carrying easier than my previous folding bike, too. Only thing I'd add onto it that my other folding bike had is a little flat footer in the middle for the bike to rest on when folded so the bottom can't get scuffed. Was great for commuting around town and I already can't wait to take it out on another 10+ mile bike trail!

I am happy with the purchase and the price. 2 things I will like to improve. #1 Brakes #2 you should offer a conversion kit to make it electric

I love this little bike! I rode it 4 miles in Brooklyn with some hills and it was perfect for my commuting needs. Definitely a little bulky if you need to get it up some Brooklyn apartment stairs but light enough I can still manage it on my own.

The bike chain doesn’t function properly when I am trying to bike in gear 1 and 2. I have to take it to a bike shop to see what’s going on. For the price I am not upset. It should be a simple fix.

I absolutely love my Zizzo! The refurbished Liberte I received was clean as a whistle and rode like a dream. The folding bike brings a new joy to my cycling adventures since I am able to take my Zizzo anywhere and visit friends in distant places to cycle together. For the price, the Zizzo Liberte has to be the best value, most impressive ride in the market. I kid you not, my friend has a Dahon Vybe D7, a higher priced bike, but compared side to side, the Liberte beat the Dahon in every aspect. Most impressive features of the bike after value for money were the gearing, saddle and handlebar comfort, and the Arisun tires. All the components on the Liberte are in the sweet spot of being good enough for the abuse of commuting and recreational rides while being affordable enough to not waste money on unnecessary higher priced components. The gearing is pretty spot on, even though I thought I would like a bigger ring up front, the 8th cog is decently geared for most sprints. The 1st cog would take you up the steepest of hills in San Francisco. I went all the way to 2nd gear on one of the steepest hills in SF so the fact that 1st gear was still available made me wonder if this could rival my 12spd mountain bike in granny gearing. The rim brakes are confidence inspiring and slowed me down while bombing the steep SF hills. Overall, no negatives to speak of. Maybe offer the Liberte in that cool salmon color or blue or yellow or purple? Definitely would need to trade in if it was available in purple. I would recommend a Zizzo to anyone who even thinks about buying a folding bike.

This light bicycle is just the ticket for me. Keeping me active and makes me feel 70 years young.

Rims were slightly warped when arrived in box. Nothing very drastic. Rides well overall for price. Pleased overall with the quality of the bike for the price.

Overall, it has been a great experience. I am using it to try to get back in shape. It's great not having to lug a bike rack or worry about forgetting to remove the bike from a roof rack. It is super convenient to just throw it in the trunk and it unfolds super quick.

The bike I ordered, the Liberte, was refurbished, so I was expecting some cosmetic flaws. But it shipped to me with the bracket cracked that holds the magnet in place. This bracket is welded to the fork and looks like it was damaged before shipping, as the bike was packed decently and the box was undamaged. I contacted customer service, and they handled the issue to my satisfaction. I am impressed with the bike otherwise.

This is the best bike I have ever owned in fact I loved it so much I bought a second one I take it everywhere with me and I can’t believe how light it is!!!!

I really loved this bike. It's well made, attractive, handles smoothly and the folding function is quite elegant. I ended up returning it because it was too long for me and started hurting my back. I'm 5'3" and I ended up extending my body forward just to reach the handlebars. Despite my challenges, I would still recommend this bike for people who want a light, portable bike with very good performance!

I love the Zizzo Liberte. I originally bought it as gift for my wife but was so impress with how it felt that I ended buying one for myself. This Liberte is well constructed and solid. It handles the curves with ease and it is fast.

LOVE this bike. Going to call her Billie, after my mom, since she is my new travel bike. Billie will get to see the world and go to all the places my mom dreamed about. This bike is easy to fold and unfold, is comfortable to sit on, and is smooth on the road. She is pretty to look at. This bike is wonderful at hill climbing with nice gearing. FUN! This bike is a really fun and easy ride.

I had read a lot about travel worthy folding bikes and other lightweight bikes and settled on the Zizzo because I was intrigued by the design and the high number of positive reviews of owners. who loved their Zizzo. I even found a few videos from owners on YouTube who loved their Zizzo's! It was fairly easy to set up (it was very well packed and prepped for shipment). The Owners Manual needs to be updated (2019) as the multi-tool wrench is no longer necessary and I waste time trying to determine I didn't get one. The bike is solid, very well built and engineered and a ton of fun to ride. I purchased a refurbished model and it was just like new as promised. I take a short ride nearly everyday and love my Zizzo!

It good bike ever on my life

The bike was ready to ride out of the box. The first 6 mile ride was fun and confidence inspiring. It would be very easy to take a 10 mile ride on the Liberte'. The seat is firm but comfortable and supportive. The gear ratios provide adequate climbing gears and speed on the flats.

I ordered the "factory refurbished" Liberte at a significant savings over retail. I was amazed...absolutely can't tell it from brand new. Love it. The quality is very high. The seat sucks, but I was expecting that. I'll replace it with a gel seat. I also ordered an official Zizzo carrying bag from a 3rd party on Ebay. Again, it was supposedly used, but it looked brand new to me. I mention this because the quality of the Zizzo bag is tremendous as well. Very rugged, plus, it even comes in its own storage bag! BTW, we also own an Urbano that we bought used. Love that one as well...just a pound or two heavier.

Only wish it came with factory warranty, even conditional/limited warranty would do the trick.

I bought the Zizzo Liberte for my Wife Debbie. Living in a second floor condo was quite difficult for her to carry a bike up and down. Zizzo weights on 23 lbs and it folds which makes quite easy to transport. I personally love the Liberte and decided to buy one for myself.

The one improvement that I would make is with regards to the plastic chain guide near the front ring. It doesn't do a very good job of preventing the chain from bouncing out, and actively makes it so that the chain is hard to put back into place if it does bounce out

Excellent packing - we got both bikes in perfect condition. Easy to set up. Can’t wait to bring them on the boat! They are so light and compact!

Note: this review is meant to be as comprehensive as possible, so it's rather large. Overall it's a rather solid bike for the price, with the solid aluminum being light and the minimal amount of plastic parts being high quality. It's helped me get outside more to discover lovely bike trails and paths, which I take leisure rides on regularly. I also plan to get a bike rack installed and snag some fenders, so I can ride this thing in rainy/snowy weather and transport groceries. However, there are many more things I would would like to note about the bike, so I would advise viewer discretion when it comes to the following eyeful of words ;) ==SMALL NOTES + LEARNING CURVES== Compactness As a petite 4"10 female, it can feel clunky at times. This is evident when I'm trying to get it into the back of a cramped trunk or trying to maneuver it around a small apartment, since although its folding size is small, it's not 100% compact, perhaps 75% if you compare it to a folding bike like the Brompton. But if I were going to be honest, this isn't too much of an issue, since the more time you spend with it, the more you learn how to adapt to weaving it around small obstacles and other complications you may stray upon. I'd also rather take spending ~300 bucks for a Zizzo rather than ~2000 for a Brompton any day. Folding Folding is definitely a learning curve to get used to, since in the beginning (at least for me) there seemed like there were too many steps to keep track of. But after 5-7 folds (around 3 rides) the process becomes intuitive, so I would just advise to not sweat it and learn from your mistakes. Being Mindful of the Stem When I take it up my apartment stairs I also find that the seat post that sticks out once its folded (which serves to help it stand up on its own) can hit the stairs themselves, so I would just like to warn being mindful of the method which you use to take it up the stairs. However, I don't think taller people (a.k.a. the general height for the overall American population) would have this issue, since they would be able to give more clearance by default (as a result of being taller) So yeah, if you're short like me, just be warned you might have to lift it an extra couple of inches up than what would intuitively seem A-okay if you desire to travel up your apartment stairs. The Wheels? The 20 inch wheels also take a bit of time to get used to. At the beginning I often found myself jerking a bit too much to the right or left as I tried to turn, (on a non-folding bike I would use 24 inch wheels) but after a couple minutes of riding this tends to smooth itself out, so not much of an issue there. Those who use wheels larger than 24 inches (e.g. 26 inches, etc.) may have to face an even larger learning curve, but at most I think it would take 2-5 days to get used to. Conversely, the benefit of having smaller wheels is that you are able to make tighter curves, which helps tons in an urban environment where cracked pavement and littered coke cans situate themselves upon the streets. Annnd chain grease Do be warned though that you might get mysterious chain grease spots appearing on your legs/pants/hands a couple of times at the start when you try to carry the bike. A tip I have to remedy these odd appearances (well most at least) is to just be mindful of where the bike chain is. Carrying the bike? Don't carry it on the side where the bike chain is situated right next to your legs. Trying to fold it? Think about where you are putting your forearms, elbows and fingers. It may seem like common sense, but I'm pretty sure this is the first time many of us have bought a folding bike, so I thought it would be worth pointing out. Adjustments Made Out of the box, I did have to adjust the derailleur a bit, as out of the box the third gear had an odd sound and the chain would sometimes land on the 2nd gear. This wasn't too much of an issue though, as Zizzo has their own videos on derailleur adjustment, which can be found on their channel's easy adjustment series playlist. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bK1i-By8nXQ&list=PL4rBRUSjaQMV4-tR11Buv84P-_TS0DkOu) The brakes did also have to be adjusted out of the box as well since I felt like they were a bit too stiff. (The brake lever would stop 1.5-2 inches from the handlebars, even if I twisted the barrel adjuster in all the way.) Thankfully, Zizzo also has a video in their playlist that also allowed for me to adjust that as well. Were these adjustments because of inspection missing out on a couple of details or because of shipping? Who knows. But they weren't too much of a hassle to figure out and fix myself, so I wouldn't worry too much about them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Kickstand The thing that frustrated me a bit was how the pedals would bump against the kickstand if you were to have it out and walk the bike backwards, but once again just being mindful about it leads to little issues in the future. Notes on the Handlebars + Seat I also feel like the handlebars were a bit far out for my arms at first, since although the bike wheel size can accommodate people as short as 4"8 inches, I feel like the manufacturer displaced the handlebars a bit extra further out to suit taller people, thus making me lean forward more compared to if I were riding any other bike for my size. The seat is also kind of hard, which my brother noted about and bruised my mother's leg, but that can also be easily remedied with a seat cover, which I bought off of Amazon the other day. But yeah, those who are more susceptible to bruising (like my mother) might want to also look into a comfort seat or a gel padded one, since this thing can feel rather hard after riding for 30+ minutes. ==WHAT I LIKED== Aesthetic If I were to be honest, this bike looks pret-ty cool. The black streaks (or red streaks, depending on which color you get) on the side give it a sporty look, and the aluminum frame has a nice finish--although taller riders who might have to put the seat higher may gain an extra look or two. Folding Mechanisms The folding mechanism is solid for the tube of the frame, with a satisfying loud metallic *click* sounding once you lock it in. For the handlebar stem the folding mechanism also looks solid, although I was a bit worried about it releasing by accident mid-ride when I'm riding fast and downhill (which I doubt would happen even after decades of riding), so I just wrapped around a Velcro strap that was lying around to ease my paranoia. Gearing The 8 speeds are more than adequate for riding on bike paths and around the city, but I felt like the smaller wheels forced me to pedal harder when going uphill. On certain occasions, it was to the point where I felt like walking it up was a better option, despite me being on the first gear. But I think those who are more athletic might not struggle as much as me, and there's no shame in walking your bike. The wheels--despite them being an odd brand name I've never heard of--seem to handle higher pressures mighty fine and don't have to much resistance to them. A couple days back I did turn a bit too wide when turning a corner and slipped on a patch of large, rocky gravel as I rode kind of fast, and the wheels slipped. This pitched me sideways and scraped my knee/elbow pretty bad with a bloody road rash, which I'm still healing from as I write this review. To conclude though, that was 99% my fault, and has nothing to do with the bike being bad or the wheels malfunctioning. I do wish they performed a bit better on gravel, but that's what gravel bikes are for ;)

I previously owned the Campo model, which I was happy with, until stolen. Liberte is even better. Noticeably easier to pedal and feels a bit more svelte. My first ride on a jarring gravel road on a campsite was a success. So--it is not only svelte but also tough. I owned a competitor brand, and this is better performance and much better value.

I bought an identical Liberte' two years ago. It's a great travel bike. This is my second bike so my wife and I can ride together on our road trip. The real key is the high pressure wheels. Rolling resistance feels minimal compared to other folders or small wheeled bikes. Great quality for the price which is less than a single wheel on one of my road bikes. Don't be fooled by the many cheap folding bikes out there. The check list: high preassure tires, lightweight high preassure wheels and tires. Quality name brand gearing.

I love it

Got my Liberte about a month ago and have been riding it almost everyday ever since. It fits the trunk of my Mazda3 and I have ridden in on the Great Highway in SF and in Golden Gate Park. Hoping to take it to other locations like Carmel, Lake Tahoe, etc. for more leisurely riding.

Stellar experience with both the bicycle and ordering

Lightweight folding bike that exceeded my expectations. Frame is light but very sturdy. Folding mechanism is easy once you get the hang of it. Gear shifting is smooth and brakes are strong. My first ride was 40 miles and the bike held up well. Seat could be more comfortable but riding for 40 miles will result in a sore butt anyway. Overall, very happy with the Liberte.

Liberte is great for climbing! So far we are pleased with the bike.

So easy to set up, fold and unfold. Light enough to lift out of the trunk with no effort.

The handlebar grips are stiff and the seat is a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, I like the bike!

I purchased a refurbished bike and honestly it looks like brand new. The packaging was so well done, which made for a lengthy unboxing, that there was no way the bike would be damaged in transit. Initial setup was very straightforward, watching a few videos helped. The first ride was great, I love the way the bike rides. This is my first folding bike and it did not feel awkward or cramped like you imagine it could. I've ridden high end mountain bikes and Triathlon bikes an this bike feels as well put together and dial in as any of those bikes. The folding takes a few minutes but nothing unreasonable for how compact and light the bike is once it folded.

I bought the refurbished liberte because of the great price. There are a few setbacks, like the right rubber handle starts to ease slowly off the frame, just have to twist back on for 1 second. When tightening bolt is loosened on the handlebar, the handlebar frame is looser than the front tire, so I have to make sure when I tighten the bolt again, it is aligned with the wheel. The seat isnt the most comfortable so I replaced with an aftermarket. Other than those minor issues, the bike is wonderful. It's a hell of a bike for the price. Folds small, solid sturdy quality. I have had 5'2 to 6'4 people riding it for miles and all love it. The practically of folding with the comfort of a bike for all sizes means I made a great purchase.

I'm a general aviation pilot, so weight and size is everything. I've been looking for a bike that I can easily put into the smaller airplanes I fly but not be so heavy as to be a problem. My wife and I got a set to travel with us. With the bikes and the bags it's only 52lbs which is huge. We'll be taking these bikes to Oshkosh this summer to make it to and from our campsite to some of the local activities. We're super happy with them.

Should fit nicely in my Cessna 172!

I read a number of reviews and studied the specs a bit before purchasing this bike. It meets the high expectations that I developed as a result of my reading. Everything said by others about how the bike rides like a "big" bike, its construction, ease of use, comfort, packaging, and attention to detail by Zizzo is true! The check-out needed before riding was easy to perform. The bike basically comes ready to go out of the box. Just unfold and secure the flanges/hinges, do the basic checks and you're ready to ride! I like this bike! By the way, I purchased a reconditioned bike and there are absolutely no flaws or blemishes of any kind.

Bike seems excellent so far. Very light weight. Very pleased.

Zizzo Liberte is a great bike even for little kids.

So far I love zipping around on my Liberte! I've taken it on one short trip and around the neighborhood. I can't tell at all that it's a refurbished bike. Everything is like new. I'm SO glad I did my research on a foldable bike, or else I would have spent a lot more. This is an exciting product that is sure to be my go-to for many a trip!

Awesome fun bike!

Love the bike. It’s compact, portable and light weight. The only thing I would improve or change is the gearing. The gears make me pedal too fast in order to maintain a decent speed.

One great bike! Fast and light. I was impressed with the Campo (2.0" tire width) and bought a Liberte for local beach bike trails. The 1.5" tires make it very fast. Everyone who rides it is impressed with the smooth gear shifting. For the money, you can't do better. Be sure to follow the Zizzo web site directions about proper seat height.

This the perfect bike to ride 3 miles (on a bike path) to my part time job at the YMCA. I can bring my ride in and park out of the way in a back room. A regular bike would stay outside and be exposed to the elements and potential theft. If the weather goes south while I’m working, I can call for a ride or catch a lift and throw it in the trunk. I’ve done it a few times already. It’s a great way to get a little extra exercise.

I really like the Liberte. It’s easy to fold and very light. I haven’t had much weather for riding, but am looking forward to some quality time with my new toy.

The seat that comes with the bike is uncomfortable after driving after 5 to 10 minutes. Think I will end up buying a separate seat

Love this folding bike! It’s my first one, will be handy for camping or driving out to further bike trails this summer. I’ve found that it’s also great for riding around the city, I feel so self contained, I can just grab it and go. I also rode it on longer bike rides along the lakefront and I don’t even think that I’m on a folding bike, rides like a dream. Highly recommend the Liberte.

We live in a condo with limited room for storage. We are also avid boaters who take extended trips. The Zizzo refurbished bikes we purchased are perfect for what we do. I couldn't find any flaws or scratches that would have shown previous use. They are very well made and when riding feel like the solidity and quality of a large bike.

I love this bike. Took it for a ride yesterday and ended up doing about 16 miles. So light and easy to fold and unfold. Feels very smooth when riding it and the cosmetics, just love them. Highly recommend it!

I love this bike! I purchsed the refurbished one but it came in a basically brand new condition. No scratches or stains. Surprisingly the bike is so light, even I can fold and put it in my car. (I'm very petit) Even thought it's very light and compact, it's sturdy and comfortable. I also like it fits wide range of hight of people. Great buy!!
