I purchased the rear rack because I needed to do some food shopping so I needed a part for my Ferro. The RR needs rack bag that Rizzo website doesn’t have in stock. The RR was simple to assemble.
Great bike rack! It was out of stock when my Zizzo Urbano folding bike arrived last year, and the universal Schwinn model I installed at the time has since broke at a weld spot. Can’t go wrong with Zizzo products….now I’m contemplating the e-bike kit for my Urbano model!
I absolutely love my Zizzo! The bike rack is perfect and I added the Vincita Nash Bike Trunk Bag - Universal Quick-release Fit All Rear Racks With Expandable Panniers And Waterproof Rain Cover, Large Capacity - Bicycle Commuter Bag Suitable For All Bicycles (Black) which fits perfectly!
I am bringing the bike abroad as we will be living there for 6 most and we have a tiny 4'x4' elevator thus the folding bike! Thank you!
Rack attached to bike very easily and appears well made. My only complaint is that it is relatively small.
The rear rack is excellent. Fit like a glove, and carries everything I need to take on my short trips between houses.
We bought this for our two bikes. Easy to install. Ready to accept a carry bag we will purchase soon.
The rack was east to install. I don't like to ride without having a basket on the back of my bike. My basket fit on this rack very nicely. Having my basket makes our longer rides so much more enjoyable. Thank you.
Good sturdy rack to carry backpacks and biking accessories.
It supports my dog basket so Ruby (12 lbs)and I can easily travel around
Rack is great. Super easy to install. I have converted my zizzo to an ebike using the swytch kit from England. So cool. My friend and I both bought zizzos and are packing them up to fly from America to Italy for a two week cycling holiday through Puglia. So excited to ride my zizzo bike in Italy. The bike is fabulous I commute to work everyday on it.
This is a great rear rack for my basket that I zip tied onto it. I love my zizzo via !
the overall quality is good but the longer screw did not properly work with the installation. I used other screws that I have (the same size).
Very strong bike rack!
I needed a small rear rack to hold a small bag. This is an almost perfect fit. The rack needed adjusting with a small crescent wrench, but the instructions said that it might be necessary to do so. Your customer service folks are outstanding, and I really enjoy my Via bike. Thanks to all of you at Zizzo.
Had quite a time mounting the rack, but finally got there in the end. Only 3 of the 4 screws were the correct size and One of the holes wasn't quite aligned with mounting arm. While the instructions did mention the possible need to bend to fit, it was a bit more challenging than I had the tools for.
Light weight. Easy to install and highly functional. Great rack!
As David M. said in his review of the rack, installation was a hassle. I've installed 2 universal rear racks on other bikes and they took only 5 mins or so. I probably spent 1-2 hrs trying to fit the Zizzo rack onto my Liberte.
The problem is with the seat post mounting points. The universal racks have various screw-based adjustment features while the Zizzo rack is solid. So the seat post lugs on the rack have to align perfectly flat with the insets on the frame. But to adjust the angles, the proper way is to partially attach the rack with 2 or 3 screws, check the fit on the remaining mounting point, take everything off, make the needed bends, then put the rack back on and repeat as necessary. I used the correct long screws on the seat post (which are M5.8x16mm) but because the threads on the frame inset are recessed, it's hard to visually line up the screw with the frame and the screws are too short to get any good start to being threaded properly if there's any misalignment between the frame and the rack lugs. I was fighting the stiffness of the solid rack in trying to get the screw to thread so I wound up tapering the tip of the screw, making it useless.
Rather than pay $8 for another set of screws from Zizzo, I went to Home Depot and bought some stronger (grade 12.9) M5.8x25mm screws (x20mm would have been better, 25mm bottoms out against the frame if the lug aligns perfectly) and finally finished the installation.
I had expected that a Zizzo rear rack would be a perfect fit with the Zizzo Liberte but that wasn't the case. If I had to do it over again, I would buy a less expensive universal rack even though it may have a lower weight capacity but it does have an easier install process.
My wife and I travel with two Zizzo folding bikes in the rear storage compartment of our RV, and we find the bike racks a necessity. When the rack for our second bike arrived, one of the rack's rear arms was slightly bent which was caused by the carrier. Normally the racks need a little encouragement to fit onto the bike properly, however, because of the slightly bent arm it was a little more difficult to align both sides of the rack with the holes on the bike's frame. However, it was nothing which could not be overcome by simply replacing the rack's rear screws with longer ones so as I screwed them in, they pulled the rack's arm into the frame for a perfect fit. The reflector plate on the rack also needs a little bending to fit over the fender but again it is not difficult to accomplish. I was able to bend it with my hands but someone else my need to gently tap the plate with a rubber mallet. With just a small amount of ingenuity and effort both racks now fit perfectly on our bikes. Just add two bungee cords to hold things in place and the racks are a great asset for those short trips to the grocery store.
10 min for installation
Strong, quality, and easy installation.
This rear rack looks nice and is worth having. It even comes with an area to install a small bike license plate. I think the manufacturing can be improved in terms of how it aligns with the holes on the bike where it screws in to the frame. The holes on the bike rack are not well aligned when you are installing it on the bike. I was able to get mine installed without too much trouble though, and someone from Zizzo did let me know about this issue and gave me tips for my installation which I appreciated.
Just getting used to riding again. Rides smooth and shifts easily. Love the color.
Rear rack and trunk bag are nice accessories.
High quality, attractive, seems durable and fits the bike perfectly.
I was really happy with the quality of the product. What would be better is coverage of the wheels. My pannier bags has to be so far back, so I can avoid the heel kicking, but the bag is so close to touching the wheel.
Thank you very much.
This rack is extremely sturdy! I wouldn’t hesitate to put more than the rated weight limit on it. It also has a built-in mounting plate on the back for attaching a light. It was very easy to install with the included bolts and it fit perfectly, no bending or modification needed.
Fits very solidly on the bike. Not flimsy at all!
It's a solid-built rack...other racks seem to be flimsy but this one is built to last.
Great design. Sturdy. Easy to attach.
The bike is s awesome. Did some stuff to make it mine. I own 5 bikes and ride this all the time. My only negative remark is that nasty coated chain it sucks. I replaced it with an sram chain. Feel bad for someone who gets a flat and never realized what was on the chain. Need to give options on the chain. I tossed that piece of nasty crap.
Easy to install. YouTube video was help.
I PUT A BAG ON THE RACK THE BAG FITS PERFECTLY ON THE RACK I CAN CARRY ALL MY ESSENTIALS WITH ME
I carry everything from tools to groceries with this rack. It’s great.
Perfect fit on my liberte! Definitely need to be aware of what you're mounting on it. My Ortlieb bag is compatible, but it does need to be positioned all the way to the back so I'm not leaning on it while I ride. Exceeded my expectations for its cost!
This is light weight and says it can hold 50 lbs, which is a TON of weight. I was impressed by the paint job, the light weight and the overall look. It adds some function to this bike which I'm really excited about. The only thing I didn't like was that the screws were difficult to turn into place. Perhaps I was cross threading them, but I don't think so. Maybe it was the black finish that was making them tight. The bonus is these suckers aren't coming out on their own.
The rack is solid, well fitting, and suprisingly lightweight. It was easy to install.
Terrific rack, we'll designed and looks great.
This bike rear carrier is
Nice and fits perfectly on
My zizzo via bike And the shipping of this part from zizzo is the best
Do not hesitate to buy your bike and accesories from zizzo bike
sturdy construction and a breeze to mount on the bike. happy with the purchase.
Easy to install and is the perfect addition.
Zizzzo rear bike rack is designed to fit perfectly using original 20” bike frame. I observed other accessories will also fit the frame. The polished rack is lightl, strong using 4 small bolts (included) for installation. I am confident close tolerances are used for accessories.
Zizzzo bikes are clsssy, sturdy and offer engineering excellence.
Once it was installed, it is GREAT! It is the installation that was a hassle. With only 4 bolts, it should have taken <5 minutes to install, but, the holes don’t align with the holes on the bike. It took >45 minutes of fighting and cussing to get the thing attached.
This rack is really nice quality and looks perfect on my Urbano.
We have Topek bike bags and found that they fit well on the rack using a bungee cord after the latch on the bag had been secured under the front rack bar under the seat. We intended to get an topek adaptor for the rack, but this arrangement seems to secure our current bags to the rack without an adaptor. The Zizzo bike rack fits well to the bike frame and works well when the bike is collapsed for transport. We are very happy with the results and that we can still us our current bike bags without adaptors.
To start I would have to say that the reason I have purchased these items was cs’ I ordered for my wife and I two Orange Via Bikes. Added these two products with no issues. And by the way the bikes were super easy to set up.
I bought this for a tandem trail-a-bike that my oldest two children will ride for going to school and other rides. The rack will be used to carrier panniers with their own school backpacks (currently I'm taking one kid on a single-seat trail-a-bike with school backpack in my own panniers).
It fits wonderfully well and looks exactly like it was made for this trail-a-bike. It will have some fantastic praise after a year or two of school commuting to confirm it serves the function I need from it.
I'm not going to update my review at a later time unless there is a catastrophic failure; if the review remains, it must be serving as expected.
Nice to have in a bike
Fits perfect, light, quick delivery. thank you
Aloha, The sturdy rack fit my Campo. I'd like torque settings to be included. God's blessings and protection to you from Covid. Aloha, Rudy
Love my original Zizzo bike rack. I thought about buying an after market rack but my Ferro is such a great bike it deserved the one designed for it. It installed easily and it looks good. My next purchase will be the rack bag.
Bike rack is great, provides a place for carrying things. Looks & works great
I love my Zizzo!! This rack is a perfect addition to my perfect bike.
I'd prefer if the rack was flat instead of curved at the back end. That way I could a crate, or something else that hangs over, because it's tiny between the 2 bumps.
It is a solid carrier.
I am very satisfied with the quality of all the Zizzo products. Reading reviews online prior to purchase I had some concerns but when my bikes ( I purchased 2) arrived they were easy to assemble and ready to ride. I recently ordered a bike rack for 1 bike and found it very easy to attach to the bike. I will recommend Zizzo to anyone.
Holds what I used to have to carry.
Rack holds my panniers perfectly. Added 28 lbs of weight to it—no creaks or other issues. Love it!
Fit and finish was perfect
Very well packed, Easy to to put together. Only minor brake adjustment, Beautiful design and color. Smooth ride.
Good fit, easy to mount and super lightweight.
This looks great on my Liberté and fits perfectly. I also appreciate the quality--smooth with no sharp unfinished edges. I loved the video instructions! I just followed along and it was on in a few minutes!
Well built overall--after 3 month's use!
One of the side bars was bent obviously in shipping. It just took a little muscle to straighten it out. It all attached to the bike very well after that.
Nicely made bike rack. Able to attach it with ease. Gives nice look to the bike!
I love my Zizzo and all the accessories! Fun, Easy and practical for me.... love you Zizzo!
Rating this as "as expected" is complimentary as my expectations are high.
Bought the rack for my orange Via. Fits perfectly and installed it in less than 10 minutes. Love it!
The paint finish matches the painting of the Urbano, which I bought just a few weeks ago.
The installation was easy and sturdy.
It's an okay bike rack and it fits perfectly on my Urbano. I was disappointed that it did not come with bungee cords, clamps, or any other way to clamp down cargo on the top of the rack. If you plan on using this rack to carry a lock or anything else, you will need to get paniers or at the very least a couple of bungee cords.
The rack instructions were good. It’s very important to lube not only the bolts but also the frame nuts. Would suggest instructions state preinstalling the bolts without the frame to confirm the threads are good. Also, I received 4 bolts 2 of which were shorter than the other 2. It was obvious where they went but no instructions were provided.
The rack was easy to install, fits perfectly and is very sturdy and useful.
Fits perfectly for the bicycle model...because it is sold by the same company. Was hard to find on Amazon and was unsure of fit. It is great quality and works very well.
I love the rack and it’s very sturdy also. I pretty much bought all the accessories I could for my Urbano. I love the look of the bike with the rack. I’m very happy overall with the rack and the bike itself. This is my first folding bike I’ve bought or ever ridden. I love it, so smooth and it definitely doesn’t ride like any “non folding bike”. My girlfriend also bought one for herself and her son after riding, and checking out mine. Very good product. I’d recommend the Zizzo folding bikes to anyone.
Sturdy rack, perfect!
The rack adequately serves the purpose. Exercise care though as the frame lugs can easily be stripped if the screw is inserted at the wrong angle.
Love it about to purchase the bag.
Easy to install and looks great.
The rack I bought for my wife for her new ZIZZO Via. Living in the Pacific Northwest means waterproof bags so we took them from her old bike and have now attached them to her Via (which she loves). The rack went on easily and easily holds the two carryall bags. On a separate note, this is the second ZIZZO as I bought one two months ago and ride it all over our island up and down hills with ease. Thank you for great products
I love my Zizzo folding bike, but accessories and parts can present some unique challenges. Due to Covid shortages, Zizzo was temporarily out of their rear rear bike rack and I could not find a suitable alternative elsewhere. Fortunately it was soon back in stock so I ordered it. Instillation was very fast and simple. (I have never installed a rear bike rack before, but installed this in under 5 minutes). It works great for a trunk bag. I can’t speak to how a full size pannier set fits, but for the price I strongly recommend this proven rack ideally suited for Zizzo bikes.
All bikes and accessories have their trade offs, but I give Zizzo kudos for offering well thought out, affordable bikes and accessories including their rear bike rack that work together well.
The threads of one screw bolt were bad and would not work but luckily I had another from a previous bike that did work. Otherwise it’s a good sturdy rack.
Rack fits perfectly and easy to install.
easy to install, very well made, quality for sure
Easy to put on and is lightweight and sturdy.
Arleny Alvarez-Pena A.
Great addition to my liberte and super easy to install.
I love it, as you can see from the photo now I can easily carry groceries. It is a great addition to my bike. It looks very minimal, I am very happy I got it.
Good quality and looks great!
Good quality item and so simple to install.
Easy to install and holds cargo very well!
The rack is super easy to install it looks great, I still folded and unfolded bike as easily as before and now I have super powers
the addition of the rear rack was a game changer for me, as I typically bike between 15-20miles every other day. I used to have my bag slung over my shoulder for those longer rides but in the Florida heat, that is not ideal. So adding the rack makes my rides easier as it holds my bag, and even a small cooler!
Overall satisfied with my bike and rack! Put many miles on it already. Definitely will recommend to any of my friends and people that I know!
I am 6'2' inches tall, and the bike fits me quite nicely. I don't feel like it is top heavy, and the stability is solid. It folds and unfolds extremely easily. Quite a design! It came ready to ride out of the box with true wheels, tight adjustments. The derailleur is very smooth.
good quality product I would recommend this product
Great bike but bad inner tubes.
I absolutely love this Zizzo bike! It's my first bike after almost 15 years of not riding one. I watched reviews online talking about the smoothness of the ride and I couldn't be more impressed with how it actually rides. A big factor in buying this bike was so that I could have ease in loading it. The foldable feature is great and I'm easily able to fold it by myself and load it in my car or store it in my small apartment. Plus I've gotten a lot of compliments on the look of the sleek black model!
A bit on the seat: it is very uncomfortable the first day of riding. But once you've put in a couple hours on the seat there's very little to no uncomfortable pressure. I've been on several hour bike rides and it's fine. If you're an older rider I'd suggest getting a seat with some suspension :)
