ZIZZO VIA 2026 Upgrades -You Asked & We Listened

por Beau Grant en February 27, 2026

At ZiZZO, the best ideas don’t come from a boardroom—they come from the saddle. For over a decade, we’ve paid close attention to what our riders tell us after the ride: what works, what could be smoother, and what would make the next mile easier. That feedback doesn’t sit in a suggestion box. We put it into action. From gearing tweaks to component upgrades, our bikes evolve because our customers do.

When Riders Ask for Easier Hills, We Answer

One of the most common conversations we’ve had over the years is about hills. Not everyone rides on pancake-flat bike paths, and even strong riders appreciate gearing that lets them spin instead of grind—especially on a compact folding bike.

The 2026 Via model is a perfect example. Riders loved its versatility and everyday usability, but many asked for a lower climbing gear to make steeper routes and longer climbs more comfortable. So we listened.
We updated the Via from a 28-tooth cassette to a 34-tooth cassette, giving riders a noticeably easier climbing gear. The result? Less strain, smoother cadence, and more confidence when the road tilts upward. They say "Spin To Win" for a reason.

Small Changes, Real-World Impact

New hassle free ergonomic seat post quick release lever. This simple improvement allows for faster, more comfortable height adjustments for the most used lever on a folding bike. It has a larger area for better leverage, making folding and unfolding faster with minimal effort. These aren’t flashy updates for the sake of spec sheets. They’re practical improvements driven by real people riding real miles. Over the past 10 years, we’ve continuously refined geometry, components, and setups based on how our bikes are actually used—not how they look on paper.

The Conversation Never Stops

Customer feedback isn’t a one-time thing—it’s an ongoing relationship. Every email, call, review, and trail-side comment helps shape what the next version of a ZiZZO bike becomes. If you ride a ZiZZO, you’re part of that process. And if you’re considering one, know this: the bike you’re getting today is better because of the riders who came before you—and tomorrow’s bike will be better because of you.

Hi Jason
Unfortunately, we do not have a launch date for the revised e-Forte. We are still working on improvements. When we have a scheduled replenish date, we will make an announcement.

Hi Margret
Great question and we know how frustrating it can be “untangling” a chain.
Firstly, just so everyone reading understands: There is no way for a chain to get “tangled” but it can develop some extra “loops”. If your chain does get these “loops” simply bring the loops together and they should cancel out.
Now, for your question: Prevention!
The best way we found to prevent the chain from getting loops is to use a zip tie and to zip tie the loose chain to the chain stay (frame) of the bike.
This should prevent the chain from rolling around the case and getting “loopy”.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
Tony
