Whether you choose to use a little throttle to go on an "effort free" spin or get some assist so you can still get a work out in you will enjoy the fun of feeling that extra boost you get on the E-Forte. Using a rear hub drive that features 36v/159w motor the E-Forte will get you just below 20mph on throttle alone but can also assist you while you pedal if throttle is not your thing. Maybe you will find a combination of throttle and assist is more your style! Get up that steep hill or carry a heavy load with a little help from a smooth rear hub drive while feeling confident that if you need to make a sudden stop just pulling in the brake levers a little will cut the power. The E-Forte features a Lithium-Ion battery that is 36 volts; 8-amp hour. The battery and components have been tested to UL standards. The E-forte features genuine Shimano 7-speed components, V-style brakes, a lightweight reinforced aluminum frame, front and rear fenders, and a rear rack.
